Exclusive Furniture — Local services in Baytown

I stopped into the Baytown location back on March 6th looking for living room furniture and a mattress. I was greeted at the door by Jose Lopez, who took his time and walked me through the store asking what I was looking for and he made recommendations based on our needs. We have a boxer and want to make sure the furniture we purchased could withstand if he ever got on the furniture. He recommended microfiber and/ or genuine leather. He explained what each piece had to offer, he then introduced me to Robert "The Mattress Guy", and he did the same, explained what each mattress had to offer and made his recommendations. I returned with my husband the following day and Jose took the time to explain the same to him and we decided on the Kona Earth Leather Immersive Sofa and loveseat, talk about an entertaining and relaxing experience, sitting at home getting a heated massage while watching a movie with the Bluetooth surround sound built into the furniture, you are literally apart of what you're watching (if you can get your hands on these pieces, you will not regret it!)

We also purchased our mattress the same day, the M3 Split Chasis and Topper (Robert created a package deal, including the mattress topper, 2 pillows and a sheet set) imagine coming home after a long day, getting cleaned up and crawling into your bed that massages you from head to toe, adjusts to your preferred individual sleep setting. I have never felt more rested and had such a great night sleep, ever. Did I mention you can select your preferred firmness for each side of the mattress and the bed has Bluetooth surround sound and lights? Talk about an investment in your health and fun atmosphere in the bedroom.

I returned on April 24th to purchase a dresser and two nightstands. I was greeted by Landra Fries who was extremely helpful and informative. We purchased the Mykos dresser and nightstands. I explained to Landra there was a group of pictures I was interested in, she went above and beyond in locating and ordering the pictures for us. The manager was able to add the dresser and nightstands to the same delivery as the living room furniture and mattress and eliminated the delivery fee.

Let's talk delivery (we could not have the furniture delivered for a little over a month, Exclusive Furniture held our order in their warehouse until we were able to move in.) On the day of the delivery, the team called when they were on their way, they arrived on time and were very efficient, worked fast and cleaned up as they worked. We had another delivery arrive at the same time and they worked alongside the other team to be able to allow each do their jobs and not cause any delays.

We will be returning, they have a beautiful showroom, a great selection, some of the friendliest and knowledgeable employees and make it a stress-free experience from...

Probably more 3/5…would go to Gallery or Ashley if I did it all over again, and for as much as I wound up spending here.

They accommodated me well once I pushed back on the heavy sales tactics. But I still think I spent too much for what I received and felt way too much pressure to buy quickly.

One of the bar chairs I bought has already been damaged on the foot rest, it broke while I had company over. So you go, spring for the protection plan. Looks like I’ll need it, and it’s only been a week or two since I got my furniture.

Hamad is a great floor salesman. Very communicative, just seems nervous (but understandable given management style here). His treatment of me was solid. I hope to see him there a long time, just needs more time and more freedom to work the floor as he pleases. Seemed like a good salesman. Worked with me well when it was just us, and I like to take my time. Lol.

The young lady I worked with on my mattress, I think her name was Miriam, she was nice and sold me plenty. They oversell the mattress stuff here. They carry good mattresses though, I love the one I picked.

Would have preferred the gentleman who oversaw the floor when I was in was less pushy. Should have let salespeople on the floor take their time. Pushed way too hard when I came in with my mom, really disliked that. But he seems to have made sure all my furniture got to me as soon as possible and he was honest with me. Though I think he sold me a floor piece without making that obvious, not a fan of that…but I got what I needed and I got it quickly.

Overall - they’re good for financing, a customer could easily furnish a full home on credit here, and quickly, if they have the means to qualify. I wanted furniture quickly, they accommodated.

Just be wary of very pushy sales tactics…I’ve already heard about this location...

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Had a salesman named Marco at the Baytown location seemed like he was a great salesman and very friendly and knew what he was talking about. We bought a bed frame, mattress, 2 night stand and dresser on May 23 and we only have received our mattress so far. We were told after 2 deliveries that were scheduled (both times no one ever showed up and we were never informed about anything) that we could come in and pick out new furniture instead of the one we had originally ordered since it took so long. We obviously didn’t want to take that offer up since it was already a terrible experience we just wanted our money back at that point. Which come to find out they aren’t allowed to switch out furniture in the first place at all after speaking to the manager named Mike. Also deliveries aren’t supposed to be scheduled unless they have the furniture in hand. So both deliveries were made when they didn’t even have the furniture at all. When our mattress got delivered it got delivered to the wrong house and when they figured that out it finally got to our home at 9PM. If we would’ve known it was going to take this long for our furniture to arrive and such an awful experience with the first delivery for our mattress we wouldn’t have bought anything from them at all. This place is a joke. No one knows what the hell they are talking about and make promises that aren’t even real. I don’t hear anything from anyone after being promised I would be updated daily. I have to call and check in on everything. We will never be buying from this...
