TA Express--Oasis Travel Center — Local services in Baytown

Unfortunately, my experience with TA truck service was very lack luster somewhere along the way they lost sight of the there principles that they so proudly display in their service center walls. In this case it was the opposite of what was said and written. The lack of communication and honesty was particularly unprofessional by all staff members from management to service writers. The problem is I believe that they think they deluded themselves into thinking that myself the customer has no other options when it comes to getting services for my tractor/trailer. Unfortunately this is a bad assessment even though my tractor/trailer is company owned it is issued to me the customer who is given full power and choice to keep and do what ever it takes to keep my tractor/trailer in service to meet are customer needs and deadlines. With that said I had to seek competition for services less than a 1/4 mile from this facility which handled my tractor needs as promised and written in a timely and accurate manner. It's apparent that the future for TA truck service at this location should adhere and honor the principles that they tote or the competition that's close by is and will put them out of business, because me the customer does have choices just like my...

Truck driver review here: This place is brand new (less than a month old). It's pretty much only good for parking. The bathrooms were disgusting. Only one useable stall in the women's room, none in the men's room. Both bathrooms short on TP. No trash cans in the parking lot so there's trash everywhere in the grass (So my pup was not happy either). The premade salads in the cold case were spoiled with grey ham and bacon. Coffee counters were covered in spilled coffee, spilled sugar and dribbled creamer. Trash piled by the truckers entrance door. Nothing in the store was marked with a price (and I can see why). So overpriced at the register that if it were marked on the shelves nobody would buy anything. Stopped here at 9pm and neither of the food options (other than the aforementioned spoiled food) inside was open. Nothing else in the area to eat either. Other then a parking lot with wide spaces, nothing here good to talk adout. The employees don't seem to care that their brand new store was unclean and already having problems (soda machines already out of order). I stopped this morning like I do probably every other morning to get gas. My purchase was $23.15 but no fuel was pumped into my vehicle and I made sure that the fuel gauge was correct and turned the car off turn it back on. Did you ever run the little gas pump came back turn it off, turn it back on. Still was registering. No fuel so I go inside and I tell the worker at the time so he pulls the rear seat and he goes yes look it did show pump I said yes I have the same receipt but I didn't get any fuel and mind you this is 3:00 in the morning cuz I have to be at work in Port Arthur by 4:30 he offered no assistance. He said come back at 8:00. I said I can't come back at 8:00. I said not to mention I don't know how I'm going to get to work. I have 33 mi until empty and I gave you. You know I put I made a purchase and there's no fuel in my vehicle. He said there was nothing he could do for me that I had to call the manager send me on my way. Good care less.
