Ikea Distribution Center — Local services in Beach City

This doesn't even deserve 1 star I ordered a dresser online for me to pick up at my nearest location 23-28 min away from me to be picked up Dec 3rd when that day came up my order was still processing I called and they said it was back ordered they told me to cancel the order and re order it didn't make sense rather helping me then they mentioned a location that it 4.5 hrs away from me which I kindly declined what I paid for the dresser was less than what I would've paid on gas so on Dec 5th I get an email that my order would be ready to be picked up on Dec 15th at the location that I kindly declined I'm in Houston TX and they want me to drive all the way to Dallas TX to pick up my order that's just crazy to me so when I called they dropped the call on me multiple times when I did speak to someone they advise to cancel the order this just doesn't make any sense why they are so quick to want you to cancel the order than to help you then they told me I chose that location when I sent the confirmation email through chat to someone and proved that I chose my pickup location near me in Baytown she dropped the chat very unprofessional and inconvenient I would never order anything from here anymore they are not professional nor helpful whatsoever how do they expect me to drive 4.5 hrs away from me to pick up...

I am very candid about my opinions. This place has, a "slave driving mentality," when it comes to the way that they treat their employees. They talk about the Ikea culture real loud, but in reality, the only thing that they care about is the numbers of orders and force labor that they can squeeze out of their employees. They have a wild and crazy employee turn over rate. Which resembles a shady type of business that keeps a rusty permanent "for hire" sign out front. Was scheduled for a pickup. After arriving female guard took 22 minutes before talking with me to check in . After she came out I asked her if she was for REAL . She asked why and I answered that I have been waiting over 22 minutes. Later She reported me to my company saying I was rude . Also stated I was pounding on door .
