a friend and i were road tripping through north dakota and came through beach at 5:02 pm. we had seen signs for prairie fire pottery and figured we were probably too late, but decided to stop anyway. we pulled up to the shop just as the clerk was closing up. however, she saw us stop and opened up the store to let us look around. the pottery is BEAUTIFUL and there's an incredible variety of pieces and colors! the glazes are absolutely stunning. we purchased a few pieces and had them shipped safely home to the east coast.

   Read moreI visited Prairie Pottery for the first time on Dec. 20 and purchased some beautiful pitchers. After getting home, I decided the one small pitcher was too small. I contacted Tama to see if I could return it for a larger pitcher and there was no problem. Today, Dec.28, we returned and I purchased a large pitcher. It is beautiful and was just what I needed.    Read moreI drove to Beach to visit Prairie Fire Pottery at the advice of my sister, as I was camping in Medora. I am so glad I did! It was a beautiful drive, but when I arrived at the shop I was more than impressed! Tama's work is gorgeous! The glazes are beautiful, in colors of the Badlands, red, blue, green, tan, grey, black and more. Her pieces are unique, and all very serviceable.
