Well, I woke up in the carter notch hut, with 8 feet of snow. put on my snow shoes and started hiking. REALLY steep, a little icy, but climbable. The wind started around halfway up, got to about 35 mph, started snowing, and my group hit the flat part which was fun. We spent 2 min at the top, and started back down. I ended up on the side of a cliff, fearing death, and made it down to the really steep bit. I Descended on all fours reversing down, slow, but safe, and made it down okay, the most scared I have ever been. In the summer, this would be strenuous, but fun. In the winter, I'd recommend some serious crampons, or good snow shoes (probably both)...
