Osborn's Sport Shop — Local services in Bear Lake Township

Very bad service, expensive, and the owner is rude. Very impatient with his customers and does not like to be efficent with his time. His bow work is bad, had 3 bow strings made by him and had to take them all back within first week of use because the serving was comeing undone.

UPDATE! Just shot my bow that I had work done on 3 days ago in Osborns store. I had him do a few simple things one of which was to reserve the manufacturer's serveing on the peep sight. Shot the bow 4 times and the peep sight poped right out of the string! Great work guys keep it up! Also about the targets, we did stop after we were told to, and we didnt tear up the targets to the point of repair. We stopped at this shop as tourist. Realized they were closed and was getting ready to leave when my kids spotted a black bear statue. They wanted their picture taken with it. So while they were with the bear two big German shepherds ran towards me and the owner came out. I explained to him what we were doing there and he responded back that yeah he had the bear and two dogs and it was private property. He was extremely rude and threatening!!! Please do not accidentally go there after hours or he may sick his dogs on you!!! Was on vacation with family and pulled into the parking lot on a Wednesday morning as our van was overheating. Dan walked out to see what was going on. Helped diagnose that coolant hose clamp was not attached by shop the day prior, got a wrench to help attach it, gave me his gallon of coolant that he had, and pointed me to auto supply shop a couple miles up the road to get some more. Wouldn't accept any payment from me for this assistance. Dan salvaged our trip to Sleeping Bear dunes and saved us time and $ - very thankful with 5 small children in van.
