Martell Market — Local services in Beatty

If you live nearby or are just passing thru, do yourself a favor and stop in and visit the Martell Market! This place is the coolest little off the beaten path, one stop...has almost everything shop I've ever experienced!

The Martell Market is just a few short miles down Valley View Rd. in Amargosa Valley, you just take Valley View to Amargosa Farm Rd., then turn right and go about 3/4 of a mile, it will be on the left hand side of the road! This place is so cool, they even have a Red Bull vending machine out front!

If you are at all hungry, you must come and try Sunny's Kitchen for lunch or dinner! It is hands down, by far, the best of all of your favorite foods, served direct to you, hot and fresh, every time! I'm talking the greatest All around American food, like cheeseburgers that are grilled fresh, right off the barbeque grill! Awesome crinkle fries, delicious hot dogs, incredible chicken nuggets and the best part is the extremely generous portions and the amazing low price! Not to mention Sunny cooks up the absolute best Chinese food, within a 100 mile radius, bar none! I'm talking great fried rice, orange chicken and more! Sunny is the BOMB!

This little Market has most all of anyone's grocery needs too! What I found pretty unique is besides the excellent food and grocery store, Ed & Sunny also have a barn full of hardware and home repair items, like plumbing, electrical and landscaping items, hardware and parts. I saw they even had big 50lb bags of animal feed... like chicken scratch, rabbit pellets, bird seed, you name it, they probably have it!

When I was there I had a almost flat tire on my car. Ed & Sunny went and got there air compressor and filled my tire back up so I was able to get it patched and I didn't ruin it trying to drive on it all the way to the Area 51 Alien Store & Gas Station! They totally saved my day! (Much to my surprise, I even saw they had a small assortment of brand new tires for sale.) I mean WOW! These guys got it all and offer to help you with just about anything....I even saw they have a car wash service too!

They are so incredible, so kind, so helpful. Do yourself a favor and make the detour down to the Martell Market, I'm telling you, you will be glad you did! What a great hometown, sense of community experience, they just don't make em like this anymore!!!...

You're likely visiting Death Valley or driving to/from Las Vegas if you find yourself in this middle of nowhere area. Well, this market is the best market for a 50-mile radius. We were visiting Death Valley and staying at Beatty, and this is the only place where we could get vegetables and fruit.

Martell Market is a must stop if you're traveling between Death Valley and Ash Meadows. If you're in search of flavorful, fresh food in the middle of the desert, Sunny's authentic Chinese food (no msg, salt) is as delightful as she is. The market, run by super friendly Ed, has an amazing array of well-known brands plus hard to find Asian and Hispanic staples. Not to mention any kind of hardware or partyware - pinatas!
