Grayling Moose Lodge 1162 — Local services in Beaver Creek Township

I attended a private event last Saturday, the lodge was reserved until 5pm. At 4:45pm, as we all were finishing our drinks, food and visiting, I witnessed my husband and dear sweet friend be verbally abused and threatened by the “workers” , they were sworn at and attacked for absolutely no reason, totally unprovoked. As if this weren’t enough, a patron came over to our table and verbally attacked my husband for no reason, he acted as if he owned the establishment, along with the workers. It was a well orchestrated attack on our table. This was absolutely traumatizing to me, I have had nightmares and cannot stop playing this over in my mind. It was so unfortunate that a day meant for grieving and consoling one another ended this way. Another important point here is that we spent hundreds of dollars there that afternoon and this is how we were treated. I was once a member of this moose lodge and left from it years ago for similar issues...

How disappointing! ...being a moose member to me is a privilege and love stopping at any moose when I'm out of town to support...this was my worst experience! My home moose and members are very welcoming and talk to any non regulars, never been completely ignored with 0 eye contact, 0 conversation, stared at and talked about and felt completely uncomfortable! So disappointing! Hopefully if I'm ever in area and stop again my experience will be better, but will not go out if my way again...
