If you have donations of any kind, reach out to Charitable Deeds rather than the for profit "charity chains". This is a grass roots organization that strives to help the local community. They will come to you or you can go to them if you want to donate including help to carry out of the home and transport. Love to the local markets such as Comet that donate food. They rehome anything from Hoyer Lifts to kitchen wares to consumables to those they know are in need. They also have days were anyone can come into their facility and make a purchase of goods if not gifted. Do you need help or know someone who does? Or are you able to help? I was young and dumb back then I’m almost 30 now. She also said some thing else that was definitely removed off of my record because it was dismissed. She seemed like I was a hardened criminal and she said, because of that reason we can’t help you BYE. so if you’ve ever made one mistake in your life even two, or however, many they won’t help you because they see you as criminals… I thought these people were supposed to help with no judgment. They get a mixture of slightly used to brand new items. Everything is always clean and in good shape-- not a warehouse just full of unusable items. The workers/volunteers are always very friendly and accommodating.
