I’ve shopped at this location for many years and it’s one of my favorite stores. They have a large selection of food and household goods at highly discounted prices. You would be shocked if you did a side by side comparison of their prices to other grocers. The weekends tend to be very busy, some food is nearing expiration or already expired. The key is to look at dates for everything, but majority of the food is not expired. The staff are friendly and the store is clean. You’ll find new items that will make you debate if you should just get one item to try. When I do that, I mostly regret that I didn’t buy another yogurt for $.33. They carry conventional and organic products, gluten free item, a whole aisle of shelf stable treats, baking goods, seasonings. If someone were to shop here and not find a cart full of things to try and save a lot of money, my mind would be blown.

I don't care about printed "best by" dates. So this is a wonderful place for me to shop for packaged food at deep discounted prices. People working here are nice and helpful. Appreciate the efforts.

I love this place! If you want to save literally hundreds of dollars on your groceries every month go there! And they have fresh vegetables, meat and food! And the candy isle is huge!

This is a decent place to shop, however keep in mind the products you but may be expired or close to expiring and the prices are close to full price at other stores. So there is little value in buying some items while others are decent deals. Frozen meats and such are typically outdated by months, which is OK but how do you know it was frozen on or before the expiration date, and paying almost full price for an outdated frozen product isn't worth the risk in my opinion. I say that after getting a few cuts of meat that were certainly not consumable once they were defrosted for cooking. Good place to get other shelf stable items and drinks and pet foods sometimes, it always depends on what they get in stock. Breads are regular price or slightly higher than most other stores. Veggies are OK and...

You can't go wrong with Sharp Shopper! I used to live in New Bethlehem, so I frequented this store often. Now I live in Blairsville, so I never get to go. Recently when I was visiting some friends in Rimersburg, I made a point to go to Sharp Shopper. And the crazy thing is, I mainly wanted to re-stock on the freezer bags they sell. They have the best insulated shopping bags, but after years of use mine all wore out, so I wanted to buy more. But while I was there I stocked up on some great deals on food. For example, I got a box of Krusteaz frozen Belgium waffles for 99 cents!!! That's insane! Oh, and they have an amazing selection of cheeses for a great price. I really wish there was a Sharp Shopper near me....... (pssst, whoever owns the one in Knox, ever think of...
