I have not been here in many years but my daughter and I wanted a quiet morning round since neither of us golf much. When we arrived there was nobody at the clubhouse so figured they stepped away for a bit and we proceeded to grab a couple pull carts and headed out. I didnt realize how bad condition the coarse was until we got to first green -wow, have never seen that many holes and chunks on a green. Moved on and quickly realized every hole is pretty much a mess and we quickly wrapped up 3 holes and returned to the clubhouse. Still nobody on site which is great since I would not have paid for that anyway. It's a shame since it was a nice coarse years ago when I'd come when it was still ran by the VA. Fairways and putting greens are in great shape, sand traps and tree's challenges to help keep it interesting.. Veterans golf at a reduced price, used to be free for veterans. But government don't see it as a beneficial benefit to help with their counseling anymore. Which is sad that something which could help one forget that life, would be taken away..
