I lived at colony club for 3 years. First moving in, we had wonderful staff in the leasing office and the maintenance men actually came when you called. Within the last year, management had changed and the maintenance men are lazy and DONT COME. Secondly, I had applied for an updated apartment and upon moving in It was HORRIBLE. Light switches and outlets didn’t have covers, wires to the heater were exposed, heater cover was hanging off. Hole in the bathroom door and all they did was pant over it. The pipe inside the storage closet was rusted, cheaper paint and was not tested for lead. I told them I have a new born so that was unacceptable. Also kitchen and bathroom cabinets didn’t have handles, nails and equipment left all on the floor. Also, they hall way of the entry way had a big leak and two big buckets of water sat at the end of the stairs. Full of water that seemed to be there for months (per another resident). If you’re looking to waste your money, these are good apartments. The units are not actually updated. Just paint over the old models and cheap marble countertops. I had to end up talking to Megan(very nice) she’s the property manager. She was very timely on getting me my refund since I did not move forward with the apartment. Also Becky in the leasing office has a very bad attitude & does not talk to ppl with respect. She needs a customer service class. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Do Not Move Here!!! For three months (the entire summer) I was without a/c. I submitted multiple maintenance requests as instructed with no response for three months, had to go into the office to get anything done. Submitted the original request in July and did not get a replacement until September, once replacement was put in had to wait another week bc it was actually an electrical issue. After three months I got an upstairs neighbor and my bathroom ceiling caved in from their shower water. Went straight to the office this time after figuring out they don’t look at maintenance requests. Was told for two weeks they were trying to get permission from the upstairs neighbor to even figure out the problem. Once they fixed the plumbing issue after 3 weeks of not having a working shower, they left me with a hole in my ceiling full of Black Mold and now there’s Mushrooms Growing out for the carpet outside the bathroom from water damage. Currently in my 4th week (full month) of dealing with the bathroom issues, hoping this will make a difference. This apt is uninhabitable pls move anywhere else if u can. Also if you do decide to move anyways and have a dog, know there will be other dogs poop Everywhere as no one cares about the cleanliness of shared spaces here.

I was so happy to move to Colony Club around October 1, 2022. However, after many instances of not receiving a reply to voicemails, as well as being straight up lied to about maintenance requests being completed, my enthusiasm is dwindling. The communication between residents, management, and maintenance seems irreparably flawed. That’s sad- because most everyone from all three groups are great and helpful; but something is REALLY off. UPDATE- I’m so shocked that no one contacted me this week. 🙄 Maybe I’ll just cool off in the pool. Oh- never mind.

New update I decided to give Colony Club another chance and let go of the other apartment I applied for. Reached out to Benita on October 14 letting her know I would like to go with them. Benita replied she'll look into it on Monday. I'm glad you came back to us. I thanked her for all her help. Benita replied My pleasure ♥ . I reached out too Benita twice since then. Once last week and yesterday Ictober 24th. With no reply. So now she's dodging me since I gave her a nice review for receiving my refund. Which she asked me to edit my review prior to receiving the refund. She started off with I know you dont know me but can you edit your initial review Well I learned my lesson. If you feel like getting the run around and WASTING YOUR TIME. This is the place. The company is hard to get ahold of both the rental office staff and corporate office do not answer their phones even when you go up to the rental office. I'm not bitter or upset because I'm not out on the street. This process is disappointing for the second time. Lesson learned.

UPDATE on my review. Benita from Corporate office resolved the issue I had with not receiving my application refund. My refund was sent out the next day.

I applied here back in early August 2022. Application was pending 18 business days. A staff member finally called to ask me to upload additional pay stubs after the 10th business day. I did as asked. Never heard from Colony Club again. The rental office never answers the phone. I cancelled my application August 29, 2022. I still haven't received my application refund. I have been to the rental office 3 times to inquire about the refund only to be told contact the corporate office to which they do not have any contact information for them. The staffer had to literally google the corporate office for a number and/or email address. What kind of company is this? I have been on my job for 20 plus years, no felony so neither are an issue. My credit is not an issue as well. I applied to a different apartment complex in Bedford and was approved the next day. I have left multiple messages for the corporate office. Still waiting for a call back regarding my application refund. Only apply here if you want the run around. This company is very unprofessional. I am very disappointed in the lack of communication from the rental office and corporate office. DO...

I have never written a review and that is because nothing has ever been note worthy enough to me that I felt the need to write review. I’m writing this review to warn people against this complex. This was my first apartment ever and it has been he worse experience I think I’ve ever had. I moved in 11/11/22 and moved out 7/1/23 due to the serious problems I have with Colony club. First to note is the fact my fridge broke and was replaced 3 times in the 6 months I lived there. They took more than a week to respond to my maintenance requests and I was out hundreds of dollars in groceries due to not having a working fridge or freezer for over a week at a time multiple times. Secondly there is trash everywhere. There is no regard for health or even just general cleanliness as the landscapers just tear up the trash when doing the weekly rounds. There is always dumping at the community trash cans and it never is addressed. Thirdly my partner who did not live with me was over visiting and ending up staying the night. When we went outside the next day we found out her car was towed and impounded and we were forced to pay $150 to get the vehicle release at 10pm that night. And lastly is the biggest thing I have an issue with, I have yet to hear anything about my security deposit being returned. I have been into the office numerous times to discuss the fact that no one will return my calls or emails and when I ask what to do I am told to call into the office and press the button for leasing and it will get me to a person. This I not correct. No matter what option you press no one will ever answer the phone. I have been officially moved out for 1 month and 14 days and I have not heard a single word about getting money that is owed to me. I encourage anyone that can choose to not live here. To find another option to call home.

*UPDATE

I reached out the day Colony Club reached out after I posted my review. I have not heard a single thing since apparently being told that an agent would review the information and reach out to me within 48-72 hours. It has obviously been way longer than that at this point. I have foolishly attempted to try to contact the office and there is still no way to reach a person directly. Again showing the unprofessionalism of...

Since the new management has taken over they seem to no longer care about the quality of people who move in nor do they care about what the property looks like if you can’t see it from the street. The maintenance orders that go in are mostly ignored and checked off as completed in their system. I have been freezing in my apartment due to the draft of air coming through the air conditioner. I have asked since December 3; 2020 to cover it with plastic from the outside and on December 4th it was marked completed. I called the office and put in another request. The 3rd time I put in ANOTHER request after the second request was again marked completed I was told via phone by an office worker and via email by the property manager that they would not be filling non-emergency orders until after January 4th due to the Corona virus. Well everyone on my side of the apartment building has plastic on the air conditioners since November 2020. I have never had to beg to get anything done in the 5 yrs I’ve resided here until now and it’s shameful. I also have asthma and I am anemic so regardless to how much heat I have on the cold air from the draft is causing problems for me. I am a very well aware of the virus but it did not disappear long enough to cover the other peoples ac units (5-10 minute task) and why are they putting that the work is completed each time knowing that it is not. Even when I asked to have massive weeds removed from in front of me and my neighbors patios they indicated the work was completed until I uploaded pictures and referenced paying utility fees monthly for landscaping. So please do not respond to this saying that you have to put completed into the system and will return to do the work...once it says completed when it is not is laziness and hopefully nothing else will be said. I plan to contact outside assistance if I continue to have to beg to have a simple task completed during the freezing cold months and my health issues. God forbid anything major happens that needs work because if I have to beg for plastic I would probably have to contact the housing authorities to get them to do any other work to repair the mishap. The public response means nothing unless I can have this simple work...
