A-Plus Tint & PPF — Local services in Bel Air

I got window tinting and Paint Protection film on my Tesla Model Y back in February and just realized I never actually submitted my review. I am coming back now due to the fact that this shop is amazing and deserves the recognition.

My first call the rep that answered was very patient in explaining the services they offered and then answered the numerous questions I had to better understand and get educated since this was all new territory for me. Never felt rushed or that I asked a stupid question it was refreshing due to the service you get from most businesses these days.

Upon delivery of my Model Y unfortunately there was a chip in the top edge of the hood. I debated for a few days on what to do. Tim was fantastic in helping me navigate this situation and providing various options. He went above and beyond to provide me options to minimize the amount of hassle but still have a job that I could live with. I was also tight on money so we worked together to get creative and maximize the areas of the car I was getting protected.

Upon picking up again Tim shined in his customer service. He walked me thru all the work that was done on the car giving me an opportunity to see the work and ask any questions. This shop goes out of their way to deliver more than they promise and do all they can to make their customers very happy. These products are expensive but I don't regret one minute the money I spent due to their quality work and attention to detail.

Their communication through the whole process, tour of the back work area, and genuine desire to do all they can for you make this a great place to bring your car even if you live further away.

We have two 10-year-old companies in Bel Air and have given the A+ team the benefit of the doubt for several months of poor attention to detail and zero responsibility. Constant finger-pointing. It's always somebody else's fault. Our business cards were crooked and with mismatching colors throughout three separate runs. Vinyls for our fleet that, even after discussion and photos, a local business in Bel Air, we take pride in business to business relationships, and today we were so atrociously disrespected by what I hope is not anyone in the ownership team. They met our repeated concerns of quality with hands in the air and telling us the conversation was over and then slamming the door in our face. They had the CEO the CFO and the Vice President of those two companies in their Lobby. The quality of this company is going downhill tremendously over the past couple years and the customer service is gone and unfortunately the rumors I heard about them are correct, with ridiculous pricing, bad availability, and a poor end product. I read back on their negative reviews, as someone who does not leave reviews normally, and they had a response and excuse for every person and it was always somebody else's fault. They won't be getting any more of our business. We aspire to work with as many networking groups in Harford County as possible, and try our best to promote the companies that have matching morals and values. Sadly this is no longer one of them.

I was getting too much glare from the sunlight reflecting off my dash, and wanted to do something to reduce that glare. I went there and spoke to Cole who told me what product might help being clear and concise as to what the potential upside and downside results I might see. I understood and scheduled a windshield tint in hopes of reducing the glare to a point where I did not have to wear polarized sunglasses while driving in sunlight. I am a fussy old man and am blown away by the craftsmanship of this installation. I cannot find the edge of the film anywhere on the glass; it is that precise. Cole also cautioned that the may be a little blurring and fuzziness for a few days due to water that would slowly evaporate. I waited a few weeks before posting this review in order to make sure everything was stable before commenting. Cole was polite, professional, and clearly focused on what was driving my interest in his product/service rather than making a sale. The waiting area was clean and comfortable although a few chairs with a higher firm seat would be nice. The low, deeply cushioned sofas were a bit of a struggle for me when I tried to stand up (old geezer issue, the only nit this old guy can come up with to point out on the con side of the coin).
