Crooked Hook RV Resort — Local services in Belle Glade

This place is absolutely beautiful but unfortunately I have to give a 1 star review if I could go lower I would we have fallen to hard times and had to downsize to a tent and heard about this place at first it was amazing people was very friendly then we spoke with Nancy at the front office and she was able to upgrade us to a 1 bed 1 bath small mobile home for 1100 a month so we stayed one night in tent and one night in mobile home then the next Nancy shows up with a deputy sheriff and tells we have to leave and refused to give us a reason just said we have to leave we was very quiet mostly kept to ourselves offered to cook for the community offered to help and volunteer in anyway that I could for her helping us out but where the professionalism went out the door is when she gave us our keys she tells us that she can get us the hook up on weed and tells us to tell the other tenets that she got us the best weed that only they could dream of we was very respectful and helpful tenets I would not recommend this place and all the campsites around the area all know each other and gossip among the different sites we are both so lost of why they made us leave we did nothing wrong I mean absolutely nothing but she completely refused to tell us why we...

Relaxing and friendly atmosphere. Everyone here really looks out for each other. Staff have been wonderful. Upon arrival, I was given a grand tour and introduced to the many attractions and conveniences this resort has to offer. landscaping, utilities and amenities are well maintained. Fun events as well. From live bands and karaoke at the Tiki Hut, to decorated golf cart parades for the holidays.🎄🎀

Lots of wildlife too. A variety of little lizards and frogs everywhere. Hawks & flocks of white ibis patrol the park by day. Owls by night. Wonderful variety of beautiful trees and clean air.🌿🦎

Daily life is made very easy by the staff. Propane refills, garbage & recycling, all handled right on site.

Lots of amenities. I especially enjoy the heated pool & gym. 🤽🏋️

You can even get an occasional coconut from the palm trees! It's the first place I ever husked cracked and enjoyed a coconut straight from the tree. Boy was it a lot of work. Ha....

We have been traveling thru Florida since October 2017 and have been to 4 different Campgrounds throughout the state and my husband and I think that Crooked Hook has been the best one that we have stayed at so far...we were there for a full month and this RV resort is the nicest cleanest place ever..they have many things to do..they also have a complete workout room with all the machines u can ever want to workout on!! The Bathrooms and Laundry Facility are excellent and ALL of the staff are very kind and accomidating, the residents and other campers are also very nice also..I Love they're Tiki bar also..many activities to be had there..I HIGHLY recommend this place to stay be it short term or long term!!
