Have been trying to buy a broom for my wife for months. She's wanted one for a very long time. Unfortunately, the way Three Moon does their releases makes it seem impossible. If you pay for a monthly subscription you get access, but if you don't the brooms are sold out by the time it goes live for non subscribers. Today they were supposed to have a release and though they usually do their releases in the AM, they still have yet to do it and it's 4 pm. Meanwhile my wife and i have been on their site all day hitting refresh every 5 minutes, in hopes we'lI catch a break. It seems the company is more interested in selling the monthly subscription that gives early access to their very limited releases. Ive also reached out to the company numerous times to try and commission a custom order but they've declined my request. So, much to our disappointment, we are giving up the ghost on this. We have put far too much time and energy into trying to get one of these dang brooms and though my wife loves "the Hags" I don't appreciate how they're doing business and suggest anyone that is having the same problem to take a look on Etsy. There are plenty of artisans there that also create habdcrafted artistic brooms. Giving 2 stars because even though I haven't been able to order so Ive never seen one of their brooms in person and can't speak to the quality, from what I have seen from the pictures on their website, they seem to be quite skilled in their craft. Also, I don't want to hurt a small business and think a 1 star to be too harsh. My motive is merely to give...

Read moreThree Moon Brooms is a magical little shop tucked into the corners of Illinois, the internet, and Anything Is Possibleland. Two hags (as they affectionately refer to themselves) turn the humble broom into a work of spellbinding art.
I was one of their original fans and have witnessed their skills, creativity, and subsequent popularity explode. Yet through it all, the hags have kept their same sense of humor, ethics, and gentleness, so welcome in this challenging realm.
Last summer, I made the drive to see their glorious display, complete with a caravan (!), which alone was worth the trip. The hags were lovely and gracious. I was worried I'd default to my "I can't decide-itis" but they helped me pick out just the right broom and whisk. These items are special in a way I can't quite put into words...and I think that's part of the magic!
Thank you, Three Moon Brooms, for sharing your...
