We booked a hunt with JOE at Cuba MO with 5 guys. It was advertised as 500 acres of land with food plots and blinds. We arrived at the hotel room at time we were suppose too and the guide/caregiver was 2 hours late. He took us to the property and said here is the land but you cant hunt in this area because my son and brother will be hunting here. This was 4 hours before opening day. We were informed after the hunt was paid for that there are no blinds/stands set up and No food plots either. We are not mad about not shooting deer, but the false advertisement that JOE sold us on. and that there were other hunters hunting on the piece of property that we thought would be all to us is why we are mad. JOE never came and seen us while we were there hunting, even though he knew we were unhappy. We drove over 14 hours to hunt and did not get anything that was advertised by JOE. VERY POOR

We are very excited to be offering this private land Missouri trophy Whitetail Hunt for 2021. Pine Branch Farm is located in central Missouri offering great topography with hardwoods, creek bottoms (including a live spring), ridges and food plots. If you enjoy hunting big timber with great deer populations this hunt is for you

The rifle hunt will include five days, six nights, accommodations, semi guided and blinds and/or stands. The cost is $1795 per person however we are offering a show special for 2021 at $1495. We will require 4-8 people per group.

Archery hunts will include the same with a regular price of $1495 and the show special at $1295. Again group size needs to be 4-8.

Accommodations will be in local hotel/motels within 10-15 minutes of the hunting area.

Myself and 2 other friends booked a cow Elk Hunt in Mountain in December of 2023 and we were disappointed. First we had no idea that there were going to be 3 other hunters on the same "joy ride" that we were going to be on. We got started in the morning of the 7th of December where we rode up (our own personal vehicles) to a spot where we just saw heard of elk far from range. We had no idea we had to driver our personal vehicle the entire time as we thought it was going to be 4-wheelers or some other type of transportation. We were taken to this spot as if we had never seen elk and we glassed far too long because none were in range. We were slow but finally we started moving. The other part was that guides commenting that they want us to all shoot elk at the same time (6/7 people at once) vs. individually which didn't work. No one took a single shot for the entire hunt and then they wouldn't let us shoot an elk within 300 yards because they wanted us to get closer. By that time we lost the elk as you can imagine and the only thing they could say was "sorry". I know it wasn't a hiking type of hunt which is okay but we sure expected to kill something - especially the buddy that had one at

We booked our black bear hunt in 18 for the spring of 2020. Covid struck and we got delayed, we finally got our bear fly in hunt in Canada this June 2022. What a ride and journey. If you're into hunting something that can hunt you this is it.

Joe and his staff were complete professionals throughout the process and they held true to that professionalism during our hunt.

Joe and staff always had a plan, were prepared and and rolled with whatever mother nature threw at us. This is fair chase hunting, as such you need to be patient and ready at a moments notice. This is the Bush and what a gorgeous area. We were amazed at how well Joe and Shon could read the signs of bear activity and the ideas they used to draw in bears.

We all saw bears but some of the sows were with their cubs,. We went 3 for 5 and got a color phase in that bunch, maybe record setting. Regardless we are already planning to go back. Great experience with my sons, we will never forget it.
