My daughter found and booked this lovely place for a family get away on Memorial Day weekend. We had such a great time! The property is so beautiful, tranquil and simply relaxing it was hard to leave! The granddaughters are 2 and a half and 6 years old. They had such a good time! The little playhouse is precious and they enjoyed sitting in it reading and playing with the little toys. The sand box is huge and they had a blast playing in it, too! And, picking and eating fresh blackberries was such a treat! We all enjoyed going out on the pond in the boats and my son-in-law and the grandkids had a great time fishing. We saw deer and heard lots of owls. And, if you decide to stay at Bellheim you must trek back into the Hog Heaven area. The camp house back in the woods is precious! The swing was a big hit with the grandkids (you can really swing high out there!) and the creek is icing on the cake! We made s’mores using the fire pit and my son grilled steaks on the BBQ back at the main house. Next time we are definitely going to take a couple of quads so we can more fully enjoy the trails! My husband's Aunt booked this beautiful place for a family reunion. It was just amazing views and so peaceful. The house has everything u need to have fun, make meals, wash clothes, take shower. U can fish or ride paddle boat, walk through trails or play games inside and out in the huge yard and land everywhere. The back porch view was so pretty in mornings to see sun come up and hit the water. It was a time we will never forget. We needed a getaway and we got a perfect one on top of a wonder turn out for a family reunion.. Even our dog had a blast running around and enjoying the outdoors.... Just breathtaking!!
