The merchandise at this store, and the interior of the building its self, is beautiful. They also have a very large selection of items and everything is well merchandised. The reason I’m leaving a bad review, however, is due to the service received here.
Upon entry, I got an unfriendly vibe from the worker there. I had to say hello first and he did not try to engage or offer assistance at any point during the visit. Note the store is basically dead and it was midday. Towards the end of my visit, I asked some information about the merchandise which was met with a bit of a condescending attitude and, as I continued to engage, it became pretty clear that I was unwelcome in the store by his behavior and how he was choosing to interact with me.
As for why, I had received this type of treatment, it’s hard to say for certain though I could entertain guesses of it being my appearance or my orientation, as there’s not really enough of another reason otherwise for this treatment, unless this is how every customer is treated here which is equally bad.
