FOUND. The Art of Home — Local services in Belvidere

Where do I even begin? The shop has something for everyone - from leather goods to home decor to gourmet food…it’s literally the perfect place to shop. Debra knows me by name whether it’s been a week or 6 months since she last saw me and is always so lovely and welcoming offering a glass of wine or a cup of coffee (which is the best coffee ever in my humble opinion!). And when Debra isn’t there or tied up with something else, she has the best associates who are just as sweet and helpful. Just today, I ran in this morning for a last minute gift and had zero clue what to get. The associate (I wish I was better with names but I’m great at faces) helped me put together the loveliest gift that I’m so excited to give! And as it always happens Christmas season, I had to run in again a few hours later for another gift. Debra and team had me in and out with the perfect gift.

I will admit that most of my shopping is done online nowadays for the convenience but if every store treated me like the people at Found do, I’d make it a point to go to the brick and mortar stores more. My wife and I are on the #eatjersey challenge to visit & have a meal in all 564 towns of NJ. We ate around the corner at Uncle Bucks Diner for Belvidere, our 236th town. We usually walk around each town for a bit (to walk off all the calories) and visit some of the shops & local businesses.

While walking around the town with its lovely Victorian homes, historical courthouse, & center square park, we came across this cute little shop called "Found". Another reviewer described it as a mix of Pottery Barn, Home Goods, Anthropology, and Crate & Barrel.

I can't describe it any better, except to say it's the type of small business that makes our Jersey towns thrive and attract visitors! They offer simple snacks, coffee, or a sip of wine while you shop.
