Bennington College — Local services in Bennington

Bennington was GREAT, but Hampshire was a better "overall fit" for me college-wise. No regrets. Bennington has a gorgeous campus though. 👍

Hampshire and Bennington are ABSOLUTELY "sister" colleges, so you will meet transfers going from one to the other (and vice-versa) at both schools.

Other "sister colleges" to Bennington & Hampshire were Marlboro College (which closed back in 2020 😔) & Goddard College (which just closed it's doors at the end of the current 2023-2024 Academic Year 😓) both of which I also applied to back in 1992 when I was applying to colleges and universities. All four colleges had a GREAT DEAL in common, down to the type of students they attracted, with Bennington & Hampshire having the most in common with each other and Marlboro & Goddard the same.
