Just okay. Very over priced. My preschool aged daughter definitely liked it better than our older kids who were pretty bored. I love that it’s not really crowded. You can take your time and relax. BUT I definitely feel we over paid for what is offered. There really isn’t much to do at all. We paid $130 something for our family of 5 just to get in and we paid over $120 on food that we feel wasn’t price justified.
The staff we encountered every where were friendly, the food was just okay. We ate lunch here as soon as we arrive. We got loaded Mac n cheese and the pork topped fries but I scooped half of the pork off because it was mostly fat. I really wanted to say I changed my mind when they handed me the food because it looked so unappetizing from all the fat chunks and I knew I would be tossing most of it away - and it’s not cheap, but I didn’t want to be rude. It would have been nice if they chucked the fat blobs instead of serving them, not sure who would enjoy eating that. 🤮
We planned on doing pizza for dinner before we left but changed our minds once we got to the pizza place. They charge near $40 for a whole pizza & almost $6 for individual slices so we skipped eating dinner there & ate when we got home. We instead all shared a funnel cake before leaving which was lacking and was a little over cooked. We paid over $12 for that and we didn’t finish it even with 5 of us eating it, only like half was finished. We spent $5 a piece on bottled sodas.. insane, but we were thirsty and had no choice.
Not sure if we would come back or not honestly. If they lowered the prices to be more reasonable for what there is to do then we would come back but as it stands today I don’t see how the price is...
Read moreHad a great time here with my 10 and 8 year this week. Staff was amazingly friendly and helpful. Very impressed with what appears to be senior employees asking our family if we were enjoying our visit, answering questions, and smiling.
I read some of the reviews below and it's laughable that one person says the owners care more about money than health. The food workers wore gloves, the food was good, and the service was fast. Maybe the whiner wanted 5-Star Michelin service? LOL
My 10 and 8 year old were not bored for the 2 1/2 hours we were there. Plenty of attractions to keep them busy and the weekday visit had a modest attendance so the kids could run all over and I didn't have to worry about 'losing' them. They went crazy over the Pumpkin Plunge especially.
Perhaps the person with the three kids who were 'bored' needs to disconnect them from cell phone and gaming for a bit and learn how to play outside. Sounds like they're expecting DisneyWorld in Blair, Nebraska. People complain about stupid things.
Take the family for a visit and enjoy the day out here. Prices are much better than the 'bigger' pumpkin patch south of here and truthfully, what do you expect? Dollar Tree type prices? It takes money to operate acres and acres of attractions, buildings, etc.
We had a great time and will be back! Thank you...
Read moreWhat a great Connor/Daddy day at Skinny Bones Pumpkin Patch.
Sure, it costs $13 to get in when the OG pumpkin patch is $17. But there's plenty of great things for kids to do. There's the corn box that isn't overrun with kids. The haunted forrest sounded fun; but Connor was too scared to go through. Their corn maize looked really well done and not all torn down and trampled like the other pumpkin patch. The tractor ride was fun though their pumpkin patch looked pretty well picked over. There was still PLENTY of pumpkins out front to choose though. The only other then we didn't do was the gigantic slide. It looked a little fast for a 3 yr old but I bet by next year I'll be happy to see him fly down it. There was other, smaller (20 foot) slides for him to go down. There was two field trips there and some other families, but it wasn't overpowering crowded at all. I'd love to see some more concession options. What's there now is pretty weak. Also, Coffee. I know it was my fault for not planning ahead, but that push button LaRue cappuccino machine just didn't cut it. Overall I'm happy with my decision to spend my Friday morning at Skinny Bones and would do it again next year. OG pumpkin patch is nice; but this place is well maintained and not...
