My grandfather was smart to buy a cemetary plot for his family when his young adult daughter died in 1972! It was orig. to be for his family of 4. Yet, would be pleased to know that now with creamation- more generations of his family could also be together in their time of transition! He passed only 3 yrs later in 1975 - so i have been visiting this beautiful and very festive ( as each time we would visit at holidays there are always so many festive reminders left at loved ones graves. It made my childhood visits less saddening and it still does!) When his wife died at 105 just a few years ago ( during the 1st summer of covid) my mother handled all the arraingements with a wonderful young man who even came to our luncheon afterwards! However, I never dreamed i ( being the baby of the family at 58 :) would have to burry my mother this past Jan of 2024 after still waitressing only a year ago at 86- to finding out she had 2 types of stage 4 cancer in which she knew was too late for any working treatment- so she went on hospice and passed 3 hours after christmas 2023!( i just know her spirit hung on to get thru this holiday she always shared with her family) I was so beside myself when she passed, after being blessed to care for her in her home ( her greatest wish! not to go back to hospital!) and preparing some of her affairs prior to her passing- i never dreamed how many more needed to be done after! I was completely put at ease by "Mark Kayson" who was extremely caring and patient with me as i sat down with him 2x before- then after! Again, an amazing person to help guide me thru the process at Reserrection Cemetary! I can not say enough about his kindness & he even called me a few x afterwards to just check in to see how i was doing, knowing i was very lost in this process when i initally met with him! i highly reccommend Reserection cemetary! Especially, Mark Kayson who is a true professional- as he has been doing this job most of his life and its evident! He didnt try to pressure me into anything other than what I wanted.( this was the 1st creamation in our family and again - my 1st time being the one doing ALL the arraigments for all) Having people so sincerely kind and caring like Mark made this process SO much better for me and i cant Thank him enough!

I have several family members buried in this cemetery over many years. My personal opinion…I feel like the flat stone plots are a bit neglected when it comes to landscaping maintenance. I actually edited 2 pictures out of the 3 I posted because the area was such a mess. And that was after I personally cleaned and tended my parents spot. Another reason I only gave 3 stars….my Aunt Kathleen (my mom’s twin) is somehow in a lot that can’t be found. It’s been 35 years since she’s died and every time I go there I drive all over looking for lot #26 Kathleen Hughes Reiss born 9/7/1935. I will say it is convenient since I live in the area and does look quite nice in some areas. I guess it just depends which area or lot you happen to purchase or have loved ones.

Atrocious. Got rid of everything on graves even granite picture markers that were not in the way of mowing. My mother recently spent over 25, 000 dollars there to buy all of her kids plots and such because my nephew is buried here. Everything is strewn behind the office. I am heartbroken.

This is a July 28, 2025 update to a previous review in December 2024 when I gave Resurrection Cemetery 5 stars.

Last November I had subscribed to Resurrection Cemetery’s silk flower floral arrangement program. Since I was a new subscriber I had no idea what to expect, but I had high expectations based on my interaction with the office staff before placing my order.

The program and the staff have continued to far exceed my already high expectations.

The first arrangement was placed at Christmas time and it was absolutely beautiful.

Since that time, a gorgeous Spring arrangement along with Butterflies for Mother’s Day were both placed by the staff at the grave, along with an American flag for Memorial Day to honor the wartime service of US Army veterans like my Dad.

Most recently a very lovely Summer arrangement was placed.

In each instance, because I could not get to the cemetery, Joni A. of the Resurrection Cemetery office staff graciously took a photo of the floral arrangement placed at my parents’ gravesite and texted it to me.

Resurrection Cemetery staff have continued to be absolutely wonderful in all respects!

Original Review December 2024:

I recently contacted Resurrection Cemetery to inquire about having flowers delivered to my parents' existing gravesite.  The person I initially spoke with in the cemetery office was Joni Arthur and she was fantastic to deal with.  She told me that if a florist wouldn't deliver to the gravesite any flowers ordered could be delivered to the office and the staff would gladly place them at the gravesite for me.  Then she told me that there is a floral program that Resurrection Cemetery participates in and she emailed me the information brochure right away.  The cemetery's floral program of 4 seasonal silk flower arrangements per year seemed terrific and well-priced, so I followed up on it, next speaking with Riley, who gave me valuable advice on what would work best at our gravesite.  Riley made the ordering process very easy and the first arrangement of Christmas silk flower Poinsettias was placed right away.  Joni Arthur also graciously offered to text me a photo so I and my family (none of whom live close by) could see it in place, and she did that right away yesterday.  The arrangement is absolutely beautiful, far exceeding my expectations.  Joni Arthur also offered to take a similar photo for the other 3 seasonal arrangements that will be placed in 2025 and again text it to me.   Everyone in the office that I spoke with was equally helpful, seemingly working together as a team to provide the best possible service, and if they said they would do something, they did it.  My entire experience was A++ exceptional,...

My husband passed away a short time ago and I visit his grave often. Recently, I wasn't happy with the appearance of the grass around his grave site. It looked a little weedy and bare, and so I called and spoke with Mark who was very attentive, kind and professional. More important, Mark said he would be more than happy to personally take a look at the site and make sure it was taken care of. Mark called me back a few hours later to say he visited the site, saw exactly what I was talking about and already put in a work order to have the ground resurfaced and new grass planted. This was very comforting to hear and I was really pleased with his immediate attention to the matter. Mark indicated the work would be completed within the next week and sure enough, he called me at the end of the week to say the site was resurfaced. I was so surprised (and happy) with the speedy handling and follow through on this matter. I visited the grave a few days later and could see all the work that was done. It's been about a month now and the new grass has all come in, the ground is all level and there are no weeds. I am very happy with the appearance. What was very comforting, was that Mark understood how important this concern was to me. I am very very grateful for Mark's attentiveness, kindness and follow through on my concern. The excellent service was much appreciated and reassuring. Thank you very much Mark, you are appreciated! Best...
