Lt Dan's Concealed Carry Class — Local services in Benson

This was my first time taking any kind of North Carolina concealed carry weapon course,So I had no idea what to expect. What initially drew my attention to Lt.Dans course was because of the reviews. However what "sold me on him" was when I spoke to him on the phone. He was extremely and I do mean EXTREMELY easy to speak with and extremely kind and courteous. I asked him about his class availability and sign up was phenomenally simple! I received detailed instructions on when the class was,where the class was and what to bring and what to expect. While I was there his class was not simply a video that was put on TV while he played on his phone for 8 hours. No not at all, he sat there and explained all of the items required on the list and gave various examples and some of his personal experiences while he was a Police officer. He made everything incredibly detailed and so easy ANYBODY could understand him. Then when it came time for the range portion of the class even though it was cold, windy and raining he gave the class the options of doing it that day or coming back at a later time. And even though he has only one leg (where he got the Lt.Dan name from lol) he still took his timeout in the rain with everybody and made sure they knew exactly what to do and how to do it safely and effectively. If you are interested in any sort of CCW Course then I HIGHLY recommend this one. Even for the ladies he goes over what to do in certain circumstances and gives you little tips and bits of advice that really seem as if they would come in handy. Take the class for yourself and I can personally guarantee that you will not be disappointed. You will learn and be entertained all at the same time. He is funny asheck and just a great guy, truly! I attended Lt. Dan's concealed carry class today. Honestly I had no idea what to expect, never did anything like this before but since it is required to be able to conceal carry in N. Carolina I went ahead and signed up. In my opinion Lt. Dan's class was well worth the investment of time and cost for the amount of information I gained today. Lt. Dan's knowledge of concealed carry laws as well as his willingness to share personal experiences from his career in law enforcement made the class informative as well as interesting. Lt. Dan is very safety concious as well as very clear as to how he expects his students to handle the firearm. Before we even set eyes on a real firearm we were given instructions on firearm safety as well as instructions and information of the specific firearm we were going to be shooting. I recently attended Lt Dan’s CCW Class. I was very pleased and strongly recommend that you attend Lt Dan’s CCW Class. Even if you decide not to purchase or own a gun the class was very informative. Lt Dan’s past experiences as a police officer well equipped him to lead the class. He was able to share real life experiences with the class and used the examples to relate to the specific regulation which we needed to learn. He brought it to life for us. Even as an adult prior to taking the class I had ideas (myths) that I thought would align with the state laws and regulations. Lt Dan was able to separate ideas/myths from the truth and I left the class being much more informed and aligned with the laws. I have owned and handled guns most of my life but was still able to learn more about gun safety. I also appreciated how Lt Dan was patient with those in attendance who had never held a gun.
