After our 5th try (due to weather) we finally had our Balloon Ride last night! It was well worth the wait. Before going Scott (pilot) was so communicative. When we meet the crew at the meeting site, we felt like we were already friends. Everything was explained, crew took every precaution to make us safe. Once we were up in the balloon it felt effortlessly, so smooth going up. No swaying or jerking just sailing through the sky, high above the trees. It was a beautiful evening, a wee bit hazy, but we still saw lush green landscapes (thanks to all the rain), the Philadelphia sky-line, deer running through the meadows, waving to people who were out. Scott explained where we were and what we were seeing. We had a perfect landing (no tipping basket). People actually came to watch, we felt like celebrities! We even volunteered to pitch in and help pack up balloon, it was a total experience. When we got back to our meeting site, we had champagne and listened to an Irish blessing for our safe landing. Even the little surprises that were handed out before we left made the evening more special than we could have imagined. Thank you Scott, Kacey, Diane and Bob for making it an...
Read moreMy husband and I went on a sunset balloon ride last night . It was absolutely amazing. The views were breathtaking. Our pilot, Tony, was so professional and skillful. He answered all of our questions and shared with us his love of ballooning since he was a child. We booked with Dawn who was wonderful. So kind and friendly. She was so apologetic when our ride had to be rescheduled because of weather or smoke but we totally understood. We wanted to wait for the perfect night and it was last night. We enjoyed visiting with Phil and Pat. Their ballooning stories were so amusing. We were so surprised by how many chasers and crew were needed to get Rachel's Dream in the air. It was evident by their camaraderie how much they love what they do. When we left last night we felt like we have known this family all of our life. We can't wait to go for...
Read moreRefund policy is a joke. First flight was cancelled because of wind. We reschedule a week later and then it was cancelled due to heat. Didn't have time to reschedule after that. We didn't get our $100 deposit back because deposits are not refunded when the pilot has to cancel for bad weather. Terrible way to run a business having the customer take the hit for something that isn't their fault. What if you are only visiting Pa for a few days??? Endless mountains should take that risk of having to give deposits back because of what kind of business it is. Ask them why they have this no refund policy in place. It's obviously because of greed and they want guaranteed money but of course they won't tell you that. I'll schedule a ride with Big Red Balloon near Tampa, Fl where they offer refunds if they have to cancel for...
