I 57 Drag Strip — Local services in Benton

I've been coming to this Track since I was a little kid. My neighbor Royce MCelwee built I - 57 Dragstrip. I'm a ex AMA pro flat Track Motorcycle racer and ex National Champion but I'm not a drag racer. I've played around at this facility and it's top Shelf and I met the owner last year and he's a great guy and very safety minded. I have a custom built Suzuki LTR 500 cc quad I sand dragged in Spokane,Wa.in 2018 that I'm converting over to a 1/8 mile dragstrip bike.It ran a 3.63 in 600'.It's professionally built with a 555 cc kit running on J8 fuel - 116 octane. I tried running it last year at I - 57 with the sand drag setup but I blew a water pump seal as I was staged. My husband, and I are there every weekend. It's a good, clean, respectful environment. We take our 12 y/o grandson as often as we can. Several of the drivers are very kind to him, and he looks up to them. The crew always keep the track clean, and safety is first and foremost with them. We love to listen to the announcer in the tower, I don't think he realizes how cool he is with the comments he makes, he will definitely make you laugh, and will definitely make you want to go to the concession stand at least once. Excellent food btw! We have nothing but good to say about I57 Dragstrip the only bad thing is we miss it...

Will always love this piece of home. Great place for muscle car lovers to come and walk down the pits where the drivers are getting ready to race. Great place to race if you are interested in bracket racing. Fair pricing and the concession stand has the best food of any racetrack I have been too.

The only set back is that There isn't a bathroom facility yet, but they keep their portable bathrooms clean and are working on...
