I ordered four catfish dinners around 6:30pm I understand they were busy but I called and was immediately put on hold for atleast 10 minutes so I waited and they hung up. Called again and immediately put on hold for another 20 minutes finally the owner got on the phone instead of the cranky old lady and took my order and said they were a little bit behind (25 minutes) and to take my time getting there. It takes me 30 minutes to get there anyways. I show up walk in, wait in line, tell them I got an order and I get told āitās not ready yetā so I asked āhow long?ā And cranky old lady responds with ā I donāt know we are sooo extremely busyā then walks off leaving me standing there dumbfounded with 5 people waiting on me.. so I went to my car sat there, went to look no food on the counter I checked atleast 3 times. So I sat in my car for over 30 minutes in the parking lot...remember I called at 6:30 got there around 7:00 and left at 7:50. Couldāve cooked my own catfish by then total...

Got my food and went to the cashier to pay, handed her my card and the coupon Riverside publishes in a mailer we get every few weeks and she refused the coupon. I protested politely saying it doesn't expire until June 30 and that we had just got it in the mail. She again refused saying they were told they couldn't accept them. I again protested and said she needs to take their coupon that they published or I would leave the food there. She refused so I walked out. I could understand if this was a business that has been hit hard by the economy during COVID-19, but I've seen the long lines in the store and at the food trailer when they have had it set up in town. This was a horrible experience. No apology, no explanation, just a flat out refusal to honor THEIR coupon! Probably...

The owner Rick Bellinger was standing nearby and walked over as I calmly talked to the cashier. As I started to explain to him what happened, he got in my face and started yelling at me like I was a dog. Iām a professional, was 45 years old at the time and in shock.
