I have shopped at this place for a decade or longer--even at the other name. I remember complaining one time to the Old owner years ago that they had expired meat in the markdown section. He took it off. Last year, I got spoiled food maybe once or twice. This summer, three times in the past 2 months. We purchased lunch meat that was super cheap because it was going to expire-we knew when we purchased it it was marked down because it was close to expiration. We get it home and it's two days past expired. That was just weeks ago. Last week, I bought a package of shredded 8 oz cheese for $2.37 plus the 10% markup. I need it so I open it the same day and it's smelly and spoiled. It was not expired or marked down either. Yesterday, I purchased a thing of Turkey lunch meat back in the meat section near the lunchables. It's not expired or marked down but it's spoiled. This is our third time this summer that this has happened. I know you're trying to save money for the electric bill in 110° heat but it's time to turn down the refrigerator temperatures or else it's time to buy enclosed refrigerators. I estimate that I spend $200 a month with you but we can't keep shopping here if we keep getting spoiled meat and cheese. Here's my review from before because I thought y'all were great until I started getting all the spoiled meat/cheese. Something...
Read moreI went there only for a Money Gram. The store day manager was rude to me. He cut me off and was condensing in his words. He assumed without speaking to me. The young lady behind the counter was trying to be kind and helpful, but he actually cut her off. I can't help that they had a power surge that shut down their computers to the whole shopping center. That was not my fault. Speaking to me as if it was and that I was causing him problems because he forgot to reboot, the Money gram system was on him...not me. I hope his day got better and hope that he stops and reads this. In no way was it ok for him to treat me the way he did today. He would not have wanted anyone to have treated a family member of his the way he discounted and treated me.
Note to anyone, the ladies at Wal-Mart in Bryant were very helpful. Plus, it was cheaper to resend a money gram once I received the money I was waiting on in the first place. Spend the 10 minutes to...
Read moreHow many of you have had experiences like these when shopping at this location? Earlier this week l purchased a pound of hamburger meat. Be sure to check the expiration date. They sell meat with only one or two days until expiration date. Many times I have had to throw meat away that had already turned rancid.
Yesterday l returned two packages of corn shucks that l had purchased two days before. These shucks were molded! I showed the employee who was glad to give me an exchange. I agreed. I asked if I could open the new package and the employee agreed. Well guess what, not only was that package molded, their entire inventory was molded!
(In my opinion) customers be ware. This place is a possible hazard to a...
