Community Butcher Halal Meat — Local services in Bentonville

I was so excited to come across this little gem. I just happened to notice them on my drive home. Their location can easily be missed from 14th Street because they are in the strip mall of the gas station next to M'Pressed Dry Cleaners. I stopped in on a whim. I've been searching many local butcher shops for organ meats. I make my own dog food and needed a new resource for fresh meat. Community Butcher Halal Meat did not disappoint! I was able to pick up some lamb liver and kidneys plus some goat ribs for a very reasonable price. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. They were both willing to answer all my questions and even cut fresh pieces for me on the spot. I learned that the animals are local and grass fed. I also got a lesson on what Halal is. (I am not of the Jewish faith.) So it was a very interesting lesson. I enjoyed my visit to their butcher shop and was very satisfied with my purchase and will definitely be returning in the future. If you're looking for a meat market or butcher shop that has organ meat (without making a special order) and other fresh quality meats at fair prices...

We love this place. Even though we live in North Little Rock, we travel to Community Butcher Halal Market to get our meat supply. Mr. Ali is always kind, and helps us find the fresh organic meats every time, because we don’t want to buy the conventional processed meat who knows how the animals are grown, or fed etc.

We like to buy locally grown, humanely treated, grass fed animals which gaze all day around under the sun. We also like to support locally grown organic farmers. Mr. Ali is always trying to find the right meat for us, and helps us along the way, especially we are trying to find Halal and grass fed at the same time. You can find Halal in most places, but you cannot find locally grown, humanely treated animal meats at the same time. However, Mr. Ali helps us find both, therefore, we are so grateful to find his shop. Finally, we are able to buy both Halal and organic, grass fed meat from Mr. Ali’s shop. I stopped in yesterday for my first trip and purchased ground goat and a 'country chicken'. The goat meat (I made into sausage) was very flavorful for breakfast. I cooked the chicken yesterday, and I fully appreciate their warning about the toughness of the meat, I cooked it 4x the normal chicken pressure cooker time and it was still not fall off the bone, but was very flavorful. Both items will be repeated purchases...
