Made a purchase and was told the first time I ran my card it didn’t go through so I needed to run it again. No problem. Later tho, i noticed I was charged for my purchase twice. I called and told them what happened and they told me if it didn’t fix itself by the next day to call back and they would fix it, as this happens often. The next day I still was being charged twice, so I called. I was told to come in and show Linda (the manager) my bank statement and she could fix it. Great. I go down there and Linda, who is RUDE, said I was given false information and the extra charge wouldn’t fall off until the NEXT day when the credit card company posted transactions. Only problem with that is my bank had already finalized both purchases. She took down my information and said she would call me when she resolved it. 5 days later I still haven’t heard from them and I’m still seeing a double charge. Not a bad little store. Beer selection is middle of the road despite advertising largest selection in b'ville. Guess Who is clearly larger and 5 minutes down the road. Wine selection is pretty good. Pricing is good compared to other local stores. Price on Zyn is best around. It's a good stop if it's on your way but suffers the same "Left Turn" issues Guess Who has. It's impossible to get out from if you need to go left.

If you like the exceptional selection and service at Guess Who, but you don't like the location, then you will love Mac's Wine, Spirits and Beer. This is a smaller store, with the same calm atmosphere and friendly employees. I was on a time crunch, so I didn't get to wander the aisles as much as I would have wanted to, but what I came to get was easy to find, and there was a great selection. When I went to check out I was helped quickly and the gentleman ringing me up was very efficient and had a warm demeanor.
