Went there Saturday and was told my husband was pre approved. His info was ran before we got there. We were shown the selection of cars within the approval rate once we got there. We then went through all this stuff and picked a car, within the budget he supposedly was approved for. Because banks were then closed by the time we got there and picked which vehicle we liked, we were told to come back Monday (today) when banks were open. We asked this guy Lee directly if everything was good. He told us yes and the car was ours we just had to wait till Monday to finalize through the bank and he wanted to make sure we got the best deal. This guy Lee looked us in the face and said car is ours and everything is good just come back Monday to finalize, pay, sign and pick it up. We come today and all the sudden heās not approved and everything we were told Saturday somehow is all wrong!! They didnāt even run my husbands SSN right so I have NO IDEA how he was ever pre approved for anything with the wrong info. I even asked how that was possible and was told and I quote, āI donāt know.ā On Saturday before we ever got there my husband told Lee everything. He told him the max amount of money we had to put down, the max amount we could pay a month. Everything!! So we were SO THRILLED when we THOUGHT we were approved and everything was all good. Well while we were there Monday IMMEDIATELY everything changed from the second we got there. We were all the sudden told the banks wouldnāt accept him and he needed a co-signer (which we did not have) and all the sudden he needed way more money to put down. Another 4k to be exact. As my husband is getting EXTREMELY angry, upset and feels like heās being played for a fool. Lee then tells us they ran his SSN wrong and wrote it down wrong. (Again HOW WAS HE PRE APPROVED SATURDAY THEN IF HIS INFO WAS WRONG?) Clearly my husband was never pre approved Saturday for anything and Lee lied and just did I donāt know guess work? So he runs my husbands correct info. He comes back out and says it went through but now they want 4k more as a down payment since my husband has never had a car before. AND they switched cars on us without telling us!! This entire time we thought we were getting a Jeep Cherokee and it was a done deal. However all the sudden Lee says that itās for a Compass that we NEVER wanted or said we wanted. We NEVER gave anyone the go ahead to run anything for a Compass so I donāt know where that even came from. I then got angry and said no way. How do you switch cars on us without even asking. We tell him itās the Jeep Cherokee or nothing and we expressed how angry we were and how we felt like we were being played, lied too and jerked around. He basically wasted our time and got our hopes up with false information. Not to mention the fact that he KNEW we had no car and had to be dropped off at the dealership. My husband was texting him all morning Monday before we ever got there. So not only did Lee NOT tell us there were any issues or say anything about a co-signer or even give us the hint anything was wrong, but we were stranded there and had to wait over an hour for a ride home. Lee LIED TO AND MISLED US ABOUT EVERYTHING AND GOT OUR HOPES UP! DO NOT GO THERE OR TO LEE. Lee may be a nice/polite man, but business wise he was horrible. I can not believe thatās how they do business there!! I personally have gotten 6 cars in my life and have NEVER experienced ANYTHING close the what we went through with Lee here! My husband left there broken and so depressed. Luckily we went to another dealership and walked away with a Dodge Journey in less than an hour and a half!! I bought my car new at i.g. Burton Lewes in 2021. Initially, their service was very good but as of 2024, it has been terrible. I can never seem to get in for service in a timely manner. Even last July, I called i.g. Burton Lewes to make an appointment because my car was hesitating. They told me I had to wait 2 weeks! Well, the next day my car broke down. I called them and they still said they couldn't take me and I had to get it towed to Milford. That was a debacle in itself!
Back to my oil change. I called i.g.Burton Berlin and told them I was trying to make an on-line reservation for 1/17/25 @ 3:30 but was unable to do so. Jason put me in touch with Jennifer Brittingham. She said that appt was already taken. I explained to her that I needed my oil changed and tires rotated before I drove to Florida. I then explained that the Lewes and Milford dealers could not take me until February. She then said that she could fit me in at 1pm, between appts!. I drove 55 min to the dealer in Berlin. When I arrived, I was immediately met by a pleasant, smiling Jen. She checked me in and told me Jason would be my service advisor. I was taken to the lounge to wait for my car. After a short wait, Jason, told me my vehicle was done! Jason checked me out, explaining the results of their inspection. He also allowed me to use a coupon I had that was sent to me from i.g. Burton Lewes! It was such a pleasant experience at this dealership. The DE dealerships could learn a thing or two from them. I believe that DE is getting so populated so they can't keep up. These dealerships should hire more mechanics to handle the increase in business. They were very quick to take my money when I bought my car and extended warranty but they can't seem to service the...

I was spraying the eyes and inhaled glyphosate not one person attempted to help me for 10 to 15 minutes. I had to try to find a bathroom myself had never been in the dealership. Finally, I had to go to the sales floor to find a manager who could assist me and to find out what it was that the landscaping company possibly couldāve been using this day. I had to go to the hospital they keep telling me they want to pay for the hospital bill and pay for prescriptions, however when given a copy of the sheet with the information needed by the hospital and the pharmacy, they still have failed to give me that information. Obviously, both parties are negligent in many different ways. This product was being sprayed in an extremely windy day on 1 November in Ocean City, Maryland. I was at the location dealership in Berlin, Maryland had to go to the hospital and still being treated for several chemical illnesses at this time so I donāt think much about this company because they are now failing to...
