Dark and dingy.... musty odor.... and the worst part is.... no pre-introduction to roommates prior to move in day.. you get what you get and find out the minute you turn the key. Apparently, Melody , who is in charge of campus housing, doesn't want to tell the parents ANYTHING .. even though the parents are writing the checks. Get used to dealing with the automated telephone system as you will be lucky to speak with a human. I get the idea that this time of year can be a challenge to anybody who is working the phones, but my issue is when parents are calling up requesting information about their daughter or their son in regards to housing or required inoculations or payment for tuition or dorms, that information should be immediately given to the parents who are writing the checks. This is not a doctors office. There is no doctor patient confidentiality clause. This is the parent writing the check so that their kids can get the education that the parents are paying for and there is absolutely positively no reason why that information should be withheld...

I had a great roommate that ended up leaving due to personal reasons half the term and they replaced her during finals week with a girl that would bring people into the room and talk act trashy when I was asleep. I ended up failing a major test because of this and transferred schools. Who lets another person move in a week before the term ends...
