Dollar General — Local services in Bethlehem

Yes, this store looked exploded for a while but since it's the least crowded store it gets extra kudos. Plus, the staff recently organised the shelves and it's a LOT better now. A cool thing about this store is that since it's off 316 the snacks get all the attention and the home decor goes unnoticed. For those of us that like to do collection shopping, I was able to complete two china sets from Dollar General's decorator collections! This store always has clearance by the dog food aisle. The ladies at the cashier's are friendly and always make good small chat. It's a rough and hidden gem. I hope management keeps up their current efforts of organising the store cos sometimes it does get claustrophobic in dem aisles. I...

NEW MANAGEMENT NEEDED! Absolutely the worst store I have been in, in a long time! The management allows employees to blantly not do their jobs. The clearance section is full of full price items , that I was told were needing to be stocked but someone didn't and left it there. Even if marked down it rings up full price. Then no one will fix it. Even after being told they could fix it, by management the lady says she doesn't know how. Then another manager says he can fix it now after I've been waiting 30mins. I love the ladies that work here. I've been a regular for 6 years. But they pay minimum wage and force these guys to work by themselves for long shifts. It's Awful how this company is ran. Prices are not different than Walmart, actually possiblly more here, but your paying for convenience.
