Located in the farming community of Big Rock about an hour outside of Chicago. A female owned gift shop and distribution center for Polish pottery..this location has thousands of beautiful pieces for sale. Each piece is hand crafted in Poland and the artwork is magnificent. We went on the day that Anna and Mark from Polish Your Kitchen were visiting from Poland. We were lucky enough to purchase Anna's cookbook and talk to them about their You Tube channel. Both very nice people. If you are looking to start a collection or give a gift of Polish Pottery, this is the place to go. Locations also in Batavia and South Holland Michigan. Check for daily hours. Shipping is available.

What a gorgeous shop. You want high-quality Polish pottery and a selection. This is where you need to come. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and helpful with information on any and all pieces of pottery. Their prices are very good also. They even have a little history museum of their business, which was great. These are some of the things that I purchased while there. They’re on Facebook and Instagram.

The women that work here are so friendly and helpful, they make you feel amazingly welcome. The barn is FULL of pottery, so much they even have the back “warehouse” open. Be prepared to spend some time here, it’s a bit overwhelming how many options you have to choose from. Can’t wait to go back. Bonus, the day I went there was a pierogi truck!

I can’t deny that they have beautiful pieces, but the return policy is bad. I had a piece that a spent quite a bit for it was a brownie pan which I used twice and washed by hand when I was washing it I felt a flaw which turn out to be a crack almost across the whole piece. I didn’t have it a year but since I didn’t use it within 30 days of purchase I was told too bad so sad this is their policy. Didn’t make one bit of difference that I was a regular customer and have spent a few thousand on their products. Now I am sure this small business is able to write off any broken or damaged products as items are shipped from Poland, but the owner was not budging. I really have a bad taste in my mouth about this issue and probably won’t be buying much more. My advice is to use any item immediately and if it’s a gift tell the person you gifted it to, to use it right away just in case it’s flawed and you don’t want to lose your money.

In response to the owners response below. I did sent pictures because I felt there was a flaw. I used the item twice and washed it by hand. You didn’t even acknowledge the pictures you just reiterated your policy by email no less when I asked for the owner to call me. I don’t like that you insinuated that it was somehow my fault and I mishandled the piece. I have many pieces I bought from you and have no issues. When I asked who else in Poland I could contact there was no response. Small business or not this went beyond your policy and when people purchase dozens of pieces from you, you might as the owner want to give better and more personal...

Pros: Convenience, fairly well stocked on standard items, and some unique items.

Cons: Not competitively priced on most items. Website and app is terribly unfriendly particularly compared to competitors. It makes online shopping a bad experience. Not a great selection of unique pieces such as French butter dishes, candle/votive holders, etc. When asked about these special item there always seems to be a reason why they don’t carry such items. Discounts are rare and seem to be on items that would never be on...
