Market Square of Birmingham — Local services in Birmingham

I have been a loyal customer of Market Fresh since it opened in 2005, when no one was shopping there. I had a major incident with Danielle last year and nothing has been the same since. Futhermore, I was at Market Square today on 14 mile and Southfield Road, which i also shopped at frequently , and was treated like garbage by the owner's son, Laith, today after I complimented him on the excellent specilty foods at this location and he brough up an incident from 7-8 years ago. That was the last straw and I will never go back. I advise everyone in the Jewish Community to stop shopping here, they don't like us, yet tolerate us for money and business sales

It's a sad state of affairs when I pay the owner's son, Laith, a compliment and he brings up an issue that was due to his inept bookeeeping staff at both locations.

This is a sad ending with these 3 stores as my late parents were their best customers in the West Bloomfield store before they even had a free standing store in West Bloomfield. Well, when the treatment of a customer from an owner is rude and out of context , it is time to move on. I suggest Papa Joe's as a better alternative. Much better service, specialty foods, real seafood spread, not fake like market fresh and market square, and no expired food in the dairy, cheese and fruit sectin, etc., and less agravation. I will never shop at any of these stores again. For the the over priced food with lousy service you would be better off going to...

I honestly hate grocery stores but this store, I look forward to going visiting! They have everything and the atmosphere is very cozy. Everything is neatly placed on the shelves and the layout is fabulous! I honestly love the deli. They have healthy choices in prepared foods, especially foods that can be grabbed quickly for lunch, and the beverage selections are the greatest! The prices are a little higher than larger grocery stores, but you get what you pay for. When I could not find what I was looking for on the store, and employee stopped what he was doing and took the time to walk me to where I needed to be. He honestly gave me service...

WOW this store has really stepped it up during the pandemic. Clean, safe environment for shoppers and staff. Its truly amazing.Produce was fresh. The salad bar is replaced by FRESH, pre- packaged, different kinds of salads all, looked wonderful. The hot bar is now a wonderful assortment of packaged hot foods . Its amazing how clean and organized it is. The meat looked fresh and the deli as well. I have shopped at this store a million times for a few things here and there. Now I do ALL my shopping at this little corner store ....
