Fleet Farm — Local services in Bismarck

Browsed around with my mom and found a few things that I didn't know that I needed. They have a great selection of items. The candy isles... the selection is pretty respectable, that's coming from a man with a sweet tooth. I only have thtee very minor complaints or observations. The keychains are located at customer service, which I found odd. Had I seen them while shopping I would have bought one, and I may next time I am there, now since I know where they are at. The second is the motorized carts for individuals with mobility issues. They don't have a very good turn radius, and sometimes the back of the cart hit the shelves, I had to physically move the rear end of the cart several times for my mom. If she was there alone, she would have had to get assistance. The third is the overall layout. It was okay, but I question why the tools were on the opposite side of the store from the automotive section? Call me old-fashioned, but I like the things I'm going to work on near the things I'm going to work on them with. Overall, the staff there seemed friendly and helpful and the atmosphere of the place was good. I will go...

Drove here tonight because the website showed they had a certain size trailer tire that I needed. Went to the shelf, nothing. So I asked the kid working if they had any more in back, he said he would go get his scanner. He came back a bit later, scanned it and said "says we have 4, wait, what month is it? Says we got some on 5/30, what month is 5?" (I'm not kidding) Then he asked what day it was, it was a Saturday, he thought it was Thursday...seriously. Then he says "shows we actually have overstock" I asked him if he could check in back, he says "do you know how large my backroom is? It's going to take awhile." The store offered an impressive variety of products, and I found everything I needed and more. However, my experience with the staff was disappointing. Around noon, while I was browsing an aisle, a staff member cleaning the floors paused and waited for me to move, which felt inconsiderate. Additionally, the employees seemed undertrained in product knowledge and unhelpful in assisting me or finding someone who could. While the store itself is great, the staff needs...
