Mike's Market — Local services in Bismarck

Had a bad experience here recently. Older cashier woman was rude and arrogant. My kid put a dollar candy thing (in the wrapper) up by his face. She walked around corner as he was pulling it away and rudely said "you have to pay for that now"!! I said he is a kid. Can't you sanitize it?! She said "No I would have to throw it away" and procedes to tell me "I had to pay for it" again in a very rude manor!! I said nope! I am not paying for it and not buying any of this stuff on the counter either. Normally, I would have to prove a point to my kid. But after her attitude and rudeness... I won't be going back. I use to shop there often and have never had anyone be hateful to me or my kids there before. I refuse to be told I have to pay for something in a disrespectful manor!!! All over a dollar candy item. She def didn't handle the situation correct in my opinion. Just because your the manager or there all the time doesn't mean you can throw your weight around or be rude...

Need more items and lower prices for what Mike's market is you think management will step up and try doing something to the place it's been the same way for way too long. "oh ...and I like to add one more thing to this subject" Mike how you gonna get rid of the gumball machine and replace them with slot machines ...and not sell alcohol? "For real Mike what kind of place are you runnin' bub?" Again I can't believe you traded the gumball machines in for slot machines that's really show them kids huh? In my opinion you are as counterfeit...

Sadly there's not to much positive to say the prices are high they don't have very good produce and the meat is way over priced these stores in small towns are all like this sadly! I will drive a 15 to 17 mile drive to buy in bulk be for atemting to shop here. One positive thing is they do deliver to your door now and have most big drinks for example monster amp or Dr pepper if I could talk to them directly I would say drop prices a bit even 3% would be better...
