Gibson’s Smokehouse LLC — Local services in Black Canyon City

Recently we chose Gibson’s Smokehouse to cater 2 of our daughters’ weddings 3 weeks apart and completely different venues. One of which didn’t even have a kitchen or a kitchen. It was great because Marcus brought the food truck trailer and prepared and kept it hot in there until bringing it inside the venue to set up as a buffet. For my other daughter’s wedding, we had the prepared and dropped off because the venue had a strict policy on who could serve the food or be in the kitchen. At both occasions, the way it was done worked out perfectly! Marcus and his team were fantastic, very friendly, professional and timely. We received MANY compliments! We chose the smoked brisket, Mac and cheese, loaded baked potatoes and chili corn bread. All of it was incredibly delicious and the brisket, Mac and cheese and chili cornbread were outstanding!! The Mac and cheese and brisket was some of the best we’ve ever had anywhere! Guests went on and on about the flavor which made us super happy since we had never before had food from Gibson’s Smokehouse. WOW is all I have to say after spending a weekend with Marcus and everyone in the Gibson Smoker truck. I was a day of coordinator for a wedding at the Cabins on Strawberry Hill up north. Now, I’m not usually a coordinator, this was an opportunity that I rose to the occasion for. This meant I needed to meet with the vendors, discuss timelines, discuss food ideas and everything else in between. Even with how busy he was making sure we all were taken care of, he never fell short on communication and understanding with me. I am so grateful for his calm, cool and collected nature the entire weekend.

Now to the real important stuff. THE FOOD!?! The foooood. They really out did themselves. Everything was cooked to perfection, moist and delicious. Incredible sauce add ons and NEVER forget the corn bread. I’m serious, you’ll regret it.

Gibson’s smoke house wedding catering service, what an amazing, awesome service we will cherish serving our first meal as husband and wife. We are greeted with great presentation, plating, and service for over 130 guest(we anticipated 110), He even anticipated an overhead count accountability that feed our family fully, kids asking for to go plates after tasting the great bbq ribs. Our elders loving the chicken, we especially love the brisket. I believe he cover all our age groups with excellent tasting. I heard from our guest they have never taste a great twist on the jalapeno cornbread. The baked potato balance all the saucy flavors of each meat group so every time you started a new main meat, it was like starting with a zero from your taste pallet.
