Dollar General — Local services in Black Rock

One star because there is not a no star option.... I had some money wired there, and you have to use a Western Union app. Ok great except the stores WiFi doesn't work so the app wouldn't load, and the manager pretty much pushed me out the door because they were closing and wanted to go home , instead of providing customer service. As soon as I was outside I turned off WiFi connection ( I didn't realize it was on in the first place) and the app came up fully functional with my amount of transfer on my cell phone screen. I knocked on the front glass door and showed the manager she shook her head no dismising me like I was not a customer, I didn't matter at all to her, it would have taken two minutes. I had to leave my vehicle there overnight because I didn't have gas to get home, that's what the transfer was for. Nice, clean store. Did not have store cluttered and blocked with cardboard displays to knock over. It is rather irritating when two cashiers are standing behind the counter and only one is checking and they are talking amongst themselves when they can clearly see they need another register open. This seems to happen at every Dollar General though. As soon as I started loading my car, the two girls came outside to smoke. I emptied my cart and pushed it up to the doors and told the girls I would let them take the shopping cart on inside as I have a bad back and it was beginning to hurt quite a bit. Got to love being the last ones in the store just before it closes. . Most times, under these circumstances, the employees would be chomping at the bit to rush you out the door.. possibly and more than likely. . being just as rude as can be all the while. HOWEVER IN THIS BLOCK ROCK DOLLAR GENERAL, you will find a surprise. .. Kind and courteous employees, willing to help you get all the last minute items, and all the while continuing to do their secondary job duites. The facility is clean and organized, which must not be easy, with the high volume of customers they tend to on a daily bases.. Great job .. thanks I needed a good shopping...
