This season the peaches were pretty bad. While Peter's cannot control nature they can be honest when you call. I was told lots of "big" and "ripe" peaches. Unfortunately, they were definitely not big and most definitely not ripe. We drove almost 2 hours each way and purchased on small peck. They charge of you want the box , it's like $1.15 otherwise your peaches get put in a large plastic bag so they can roll-a-round and get bruised. Than there's the price oh my gosh $25...way more than last year. The fruit is fresher, tastes a whole lot better, and who wouldn't like to meet some of the people who picked the food you're putting on your table? They have a wide variety of peaches, apples, squash, pumpkins, etc to choose from. I would suggest checking the ripening schedule before you go. That way you know what is currently being offered.
