I have given 10 STARS to several businesses, here is another one that deserves that high honor!
BLAIN MARKET at 31 E. Main St, BLAIN, PA 17006 is simply an outstanding market! As soon as you step inside you notice how clean the market is…that along is worth 50 STARS! Moreover, the kind people working there, in my opinion, have a ‘HIGHER LOVE’, greeting everyone with a genuine smile & good morning. That alone will wake anyone up to the fact that you are in the right place!
After knowing you are in the right place, you see a COFFEE STAND, making sure it adds to your wonderful start of your day. There are clothes for purchase in that same area: HOODIES with BLAIN PENNSYLVANIA on them. In that same area are different kinds of cold SODAS ect. Next to those, is a specialty section.
There are FRESH FRUITS & VEGETABLES sections, having all those fresh fruits you want & vegetables you need to prepare anything you desire.
There is a section, having a mixture of PACKAGED NUTS & SWEETS on shelves. Another section has PURE FLOUR, GRAINS & such like, that will add flavor to whatever you prepare.
There is a FROZEN FOODS section, PIZZAS, TURKEYS, CHICKEN NUGGETS ect.
There is a DELI at the back, having all kinds of FRESH MEATS & CHEESE. Even BREAKFAST & LUNCH sandwiches, and even ICE CREAM, MILK SHAKES & SOFT SERVE SUNDAES.
There are so many items I did not mention, because I do not have enough room to type them here…to see those items you must go there and be part of a place that is surely a BLESSING!
THAN YOU ALL AT...

This isn't a typical discount store like Zooks or Skyline, etc. Glad for sporting goods section! Pretty decent make-up of baked goods at register too. Please don't skimp on the icing in those whoopie pies, as that and the size is what sets them apart from other market shelves locally. All in all... Definitely better store now than its been for a long time. Keep up the good work. Several months ago with prior management: expensive but they have made an effort to lower prices. Can of icing was in $5 range and now I saw $3 range. Not cheap but lower than before. Let's face it, the store is good for emergency shopping and lottery. Lady in back with deli was very kind and helpful. Not sure if the store will ever be what it was when Mr Book owned and operated. Wasn't cheap then either. Yet was more of a local convenience store. In their defense, the small Amish/Mennonite stores that have been cropping up are hard to...
Read moreSince the store was bought and under new management the prices have dropped and they have a TON of great selections. They have remodeled the entire store and have made it super easy to navigate. It is wonderful to have a great little store just a little walk away from home and the prices be better than the grocery store. Thank you for making this town store...
