Mark's Computers — Local services in Blair Township

I bought 2 servers from Mark's Computers and they are screaming fast and have been running for years. MC is my first stop without question. If you need a computer at an affordable price, MC is the place especially for a high quality MACs. Keep in mind, this is largely a two man operation with extensive hours. One is out buying stock much of the time and the other the repair guy. They cannot be around every minute of the day though they are most of the time. And since Leighty's is open and MC is not, it can be deceiving thinking that MC is open. Go during a week day or if you go on a Saturday go earlier in the day. I too have waited when MC was closed. I brought my laptop in because my kids messed up my password and I had no access to my computer... I brought it in on a Saturday evening and it was ready Monday! It was a holiday weekend as well, so I was not expecting such fast service. The price was also very reasonable... I also lost my charger cord and he had a universal one for sale. Now, the charger cord I could have bought at Walmart for half the price, but since it is a local business and I am sure COVID has impacted his work, I just bought it from him. Another computer service corrupted my OS while replacing DVD drive gone bad - tried telling me my motherboard/RAM slot was at fault, did not try reloading the OS, but still charged me for "initial diagnostics". They not only replaced the DVD drive, but installed a larger HD (something the other place said wasn't possible), and reloaded the OS - all for much less and faster...
