This year was my first year going for peppers at Bultema's. Absolutely wonderful, clean crops and very nice farmstand. Everyone working there is very nice and welcoming.
It's a shame that people are so disrespectful and leave piles of produce on the side of the road/rows. I saw 2 large piles today and it's such a shame. I think they would benefit from hiring some additional help to monitor the picking. It's become clear that people are getting a little to comfortable being destructive. Also saw people picking and then picking the produce over when they get to their cars and throwing away what they don't like. Such a shame. Beautiful farm and well taken care of.
Will be back for sure! Start charging people for throwing...
Read moreMe and my mother have been coming here for years.. when we first started coming here you didn't have to pay per person to come in, now you do. When we came to pick peppers today we were treated with attitude from everyone. The two young ladies who sold us the bags to put our things were very rude and were playing around while waiting on us. Not only that we were leaving we were treated with some more attitude from some different girls. I don't know if because of their young ages but I think you guys need a huge staff improvement..If this wasn't the closet farm to me I wouldn't come back. I would like to be respected next time...
Read moreIf you're looking for FRESH Picked, this is the place! Prices are exceptionally high like corn $7 or $8 a dozen! Elephant garlic high, tomatoes high... Some produce they grow, other produce they bring in. I wish they would start growing ORGANIC! I often wonder what pesticides we are eating?? I love when they get a pallet or two of fresh picked juicy crispy Michigan Mackintosh apples in September!!! Too bad they don't have email notification to alert us when ripened produce come in.
