Tatanka Golf Club — Local services in Bloomfield

This place is fantastic! It has a bar, casino, and golf course all in one parking lot. You don't waste time driving to the course, driving to dinner, etc. You just wake up and grab your bag and walk across the parking lot. So convenient! The golf course was in really good condition when we played there in 2017. It was not crowded and the holes are very scenic and challenge the better players. Updated 8/20/2023 -- played again this year -- it was an even better experience than last year. I've had the opportunity to play Lost Rail a couple of times and this course is almost as good. Defnitely in league with the other courses of northern Nebraska.

Drove 200 miles out of my way to play here. Well worth the trip. Only $80 to play this course and $20 re-play (June 2023). If you can, budget your time, play 4 times in 2 days for just $200. That's a steal. Fantastic greens. Well maintained course. Head Pro is awesome. You'll likely have the entire course mostly to yourself in the afternoon. The views are really breath-taking as well.
