Jerkins Angus Farm — Local services in Blountstown

I went into Jerkins for the first time a couple of days ago. Our family just started the carnivore diet, and I knew we would be needing a lot of meat. EVERYONE there was so kind and helpful. They answered all of my questions (and there were a lot of them! lol), and were very attentive. I ordered a quite a bit of ground beef, and they went and had it freshly ground for me, right then and there. They also freshly cut some steaks, that they didn't have enough of up front, to be sure I was getting everything that I wanted. The place was SUPER organized and clean! (I had gone to another butcher, and it smelled very strong of "blood". Which is understandable, considering there is blood everywhere. But at Jerkins, it was not this way- even with the meat getting cut right there. This place was SPOTLESS!) Well, once we got home, we have tried the burgers, the sirloins and the smoked beef sausage (one with pepperjack, and one plain). EVERYTHING has been incredible. The burgers had absolutely no gristle, the steaks (even for the cheaper cut) was SUPER tender and juicy. The sausage was great, with no gristle, as well. We all preferred the one without the cheese, but even with the cheese it was good! Though, we loved the place, and all the meat we have tried... the best part about this place was when the owner told me how much he cares for the community, and making it possible for them to be able to afford food- even when everyone else is marking up their prices.

If you haven't tried Jerkins meat... it's a must. This will absolutely continue to be the place that we get all of...

Man I have heard nothing but good about the meats here,so I stopped in Tuesday and bought about 300 dollars worth of this and that to try.So far I cooked some of the maple sausage and made biscuits and gravy with the maple sausage crumbled up in it and it was fine! Put the Ribeye steaks on the charcoal grill and they were some of the best I've had in a long time.Flavor was incredible and tender as they get.This is definitely my new go to for meats hands down quality and the guys in the store were super helpful and polite.What a freaking treasure to have in our little area.Keep up the great service and quality you have going guys! I will send everyone I know over there to check it out.They have a huge selection from ice cream and cheese to vegetables to pork and beef of the highest quality and the shop is a cool...

Jerkins has fresh beef at a reasonable price. For some unknown reason I get muscle spasms when I eat meat purchased from grocery stores. I've been trying to eat all organic beef which does not seem to give me spasms. So far with my recent purchases of Jerkins beef I have not had any issues with spasms. Jerkins beef is not organic, but it is fresh as they raise and process the beef right there on their farm. Store bought beef must have some preservatives in it that causes my spasms. For those of you with arthritis in your fingers which can cause your knuckles to turn red and ache you might switch to Jerkins beef or start eating organic meat. Since I have changed the way I eat, my knuckles no longer ache....
