I absolutely Love this Doctors office. The second you walk in you feel so much love. The girls at the front desk are amazing with so much warmth. They make you feel at home right off the the bat. Thanks ladies for all y’all do. 😊 Then, you get to the back and Realize it wasn’t just a show, they are just really genuine people. No matter what day of the week you go in there you will always get that warm welcome and that sweet goodbye. Amber is the most amazing woman I’ve ever met. The way she cares makes you want to say more and more because she shows she is truly in tune with you and what you’re saying. I’m truly blessed to have meet these sweet people. I went in there for just a health Diagnosis but I left with so much more. It’s hard to remember what people say to you, but you can always remember how they made you feel and Amber will always and forever hold a special place in my heart just based off of our very first conversation. I can’t brag enough on how well these women run this office. I truly appreciate y’all. Brittany and kylee, stay sweet and never let this cold world change y’all’s smile. I was born and raised in Holly Pond, Alabama, but moved away shortly after graduating from Holly Pond High School. Since leaving the Cullman County/Blount County area fifty (50) plus years ago, my profession required working short/long term assignments in Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Maryland, Minnesota, Missouri, New Mexico, New York, Pennsylvania, Texas, Utah, and Wisconsin. Additionally, I lived/worked in the Peoples’ Republic of China for four (4) years.

Consequently, I have been treated by many highly accomplished physicians in many large, sophisticated, and wealthy cities located far from Blountsville, Alabama. So, I write with confidence; the people living in/near Blountsville, Alabama are very fortunate to have Ms. Melanie Gardner, MD attending to their medical needs.

I have been a patient of Doctor Gardner’s for several months and during this relatively short time span have seen/have benefited from her consummate physical examinations, detailed reviews of my medical history, oversight of/follow up on procedures/testing by other medical organizations/individuals, and her quick/decisive actions resulting in my significant health improvements.

Both I and my financee have had some pretty substandard experiences with this place, so I don't know why it has so many stars unless locals just don't understand that healthcare can be better. They will never simply call you with lab results, but they WILL make you come in for a second visit so they can get double revenue from insurance. Nurses will not disclose results to the patient over the phone. It's a racket. Dr. Gardner lacks common sense and makes assumptions that are not in evidence, both about disease processes and patient behavior. She gets impressions that are opposite of what the patient history suggests. They order unnecessary tests, and they frequently assume recent problems are unrelated to new problems. They have very little investigative skill. I very frequently left with the impression that many of the practitioners simply aren't intelligent enough to work in their respective field.
