Anyone who has kids who really like dinosaurs NEEDS to go here. Kids literally get to TOUCH dinosaur bones, hold a dinosaur egg, and maybe even hold a real honest-to-goodness piece of the moon. There is a full-size T. Rex skeleton and also a mosasaurus. There are also extinct giant bison skulls from Minnesota, the world's largest beetles, and lots of other things. Don't let the small size of the museum fool you...there is a lot in there, and Jim, who is a fossil expert and can talk to any person of any knowledge level, specifically takes the time to talk one-on-one with the kids, asking them questions, letting them hold things and making it an experience of a lifetime for kids. It's got big museum exhibits, but in a cozy, personalized atmosphere. For donations of $20 or more, you can take home one of many kinds of fossils...and not just little local ones.
