Came across this festival accidentally trying to hike at the pinnacles, walked in and kind of looked around and bought a few shirts. As we made our way we realized a guy following us everywhere we went which was creepy as hell but we let it go, we found out later it was a guy who worked for the festival. As we made it back down to our car the festival had been over for about 30 minutes and all the vendors were packing up, we didnt know this at the time but a car was behind us and we had asked her to back up a little so we could get out (there was no cars behind her and we told her we were going to go the opposite way so we wouldn't be taking her spot or anything) she was a vendor and said "umm no im good thanks" then rolled her window back up and refused to let us or any other cars out and had to get a cop involved just to get her to let us and the other cars out. This was my first time at any kind of festival like this and extremely disappointed to be completely honest. Instead of being followed they could've just plainly told us to pay a fee and we would've had we known before we walked in that it was required, No one at the entrance asked or told us to pay any kind of fee either which made us think it was for...

Beautiful forest provides shade, so even in the heat and humidity, shopping is less stressful. Portable toilets are available with hand washing equipment.

I was able to find some extraordinary artists and gems within this fair. my undergrad is in my fine ARTS so I was grateful to see textile works and ceramics. My feedback for next year is for more booths with more curation. Truly, much of the jewelry I saw was the same. Also, Berea College has zero representation which I was surprised about.
