"You have the equipment, now get the training." - Russel with DesertTech.
Russel said that to a group of us at a bush league long range tournament which was hosted by DesertTech. That is the best advice I've gotten for long range marksmanship.
I took the Precision Rifle I course in September 2016 and it is, by far, the best money I have spent on anything firearm related. The instructors are able to explain the science and math behind precision shooting in a way anyone can understand. They are willing to work with you if you aren't understanding or grasping a topic which ensures you get your money's worth.
I went into this course thinking I would walk away with a few new tools and concepts, but I got a completely new outlook on the long range rifle sport. After digesting the information I realized how much ammunition I had wasted doing things wrong and from "guesstimations" prior to this course.
The only problem with this course is my wallet is now on fire because I want to take a lot more of these training events. In all seriousness, you get a lot more than what you pay for with...
Read moreMy interests in this review are with the unsuspecting customer: DO NOT BUY from this business. Poor customer reviews mirror my experience, which is heavily documented. I gave them a try, needing a product for work in the army. They were extremely responsive to my inquiry, answered my questions, and promised to have the product shipped by a certain date. But then they ghosted me once I paid. I reached out numerous times by phone/email with no reply. It was only after disputing the charge with my bank that DD magically appeared with convenient excuses and news the product was not going to make it on time. I've seen the polite and professional responses from DD to customers with low ratings (and I expect to get one too) but DO NOT BUY IT. This company has the hallmarks of deception, lost my trust, did not deliver, and was super sketchy. Now I'm traveling far away from home without the gear they...

Luckily this guy was helpful and explained they were moving stores. So all in all some guy got annoyed for me wanting to buy from him and I didn't get to see anything. 1 star for the second guy who...
