We purchased 2 gallons of raw milk here for the first time a couple days ago. It is $16.99 a gallon. We finished the first gallon within 2 and 1/2 days and it tasted great, opened the second one this morning and it was grainy and tasted like cheese. It was still 4 days before the sell by date. We drove 30 minutes back to the store to exchange it and were told that we cannot do so. The saleswoman claimed that our refrigerator could potentially not be the right temperature. My husband is the one who ran in to exchange. The saleswoman was very nice about it and although he was disappointed he couldn't get a replacement for the old milk, the sales woman brought a gallon out from the back and poured some for him to try. The milk tasted great so he decided we would purchase another to last us until we could get to a farm that sells raw milk a little further away. He grabbed another one from the fridge and we were on our way. We made sure to keep all gallons (including the one purchased a couple hours ago) at the right temperature on the way home. Well, we got home and this gallon was also bad. We have been drinking raw milk for a long time and have never had an issue like this. I called the store just now and explained that the milk we had just purchased is also bad. She told me that I must not be able to get used to the raw taste and hung up on me unless the call just dropped. She mentioned she cannot afford to, however there should be a system in place for this type of issue. We also looked up how much you can buy a gallon of milk from the actual farm she purchases it from and it is $7 a gallon not including any bulk discounts she may get. She also did mention she makes the 4 hour trip back from the farm in her car. She said she keeps everything cool but now I am thinking maybe that 4 hour drive is where things went wrong. I know the hard work that goes into budgeting/affording raw milk, organic meats etc. and I just don't want this to happen to anyone else. (She did mention that we could contact the farm. I will update the review if we are able to get refunded...
Read moreBEWARE!! This place is breaking the law. Denied our entrence due to my service dog. I cannot walk without her and completely denied my entry. Sad the way I was treated. When it’s a service animal completely trained to not touch or even go up to anyone or anything . I tried explaining and kept telling me she didn’t care. This was completely against the law. I will be sure the city is aware of this place.
In South Carolina, it is a crime to interfere with the right of a person with a disability to use a service dog. 7 The law applies to businesses that refuse service to someone who has a service dog. Places of public accommodation are not required to allow any animals other than a “service dog”
Service Dogs – Legal Rights

Read moreI stopped in last weekend to check this natural health food store out as I have always done natural remedies and herbs etc for health and wellness and healing my whole life. I have a very difficult medical condition and I know a lot about how it works and such and autoimmune issues and such being a holistic health researcher and being through my own complicated health issues. The owner that was in there treated me like I knew nothing about my own condition that I've studied and lived with for 7 years!!! I came in looking for a specific item to try for it after doing much research, and she tried to lecture me on what "she thinks" I don't know about my condition and how it's all in my head!!!! :( I don't mind if a shop owner has good knowledge to offer in a kind & respectful way...but she acted like she is the all knowing shaman of the holistic health world when I know there were a few things she mentioned...that would actually be harmful to my situation!!!. She didn't even ask about my symptoms or testing I had already been through etc. So clearly...she needs to be more aware and careful on what she is all telling people while trying to make a sale. Also, all items I looked at there were literally at least 2 - 2.5 times more expensive than other health food shops in the area. I left frustrated and disappointed! Do your own research online for any health issues before you spend a mint in this shop. Won't be...
