This is the worst experience I have ever at a fair. I paid $10 and $30 for unlimited rides, but I never got on a single ride because the first ride cyclops. I went to with my girlfriend. People kept cutting in front of the line. We didn't know because we were in the way back, in the line for about an hour. And after 30 minutes, when we were halfway in the line, my girlfriend started noticing some people cutting in line right in front of us.I was able to deal with them. But 10 minutes later, more people started coming in front of us. I tried to deal with them, but I got ganged up on, either by young dudes or old men trying to pretend they worked at the place. So I went to get a refund, and yes, I know there are no refunds allowed. I just want someone to fix the problem. And saying that I wanted a refund got me to the people who managed the fair. There are more than 30 people right behind me waiting in that line and have been waiting almost as long as I have. So I wanted it fixed, even though the fair was about to end. I complained to a woman at the ticket booth. I got referred to a woman named Miss Leslie. She said, "There's nothing I could do about it. You should have done something." If I had, there would have been in a fight with these people. So then she's like, "Hmm." She got the ride manager—I can't remember his name. He says you should complain to [name] because he has no control over the police, nor can he help me. So I went to the The police were notified and a complaint was filed about what happened. The officer said, "You should have gotten a police officer." But there was no police officer right behind the Cyclops ride. And he said, "There were 30 of us." And I said, " There was no police officer, no yellow vest person, and the ride operator didn't even care. Nobody was being sneaky about it."

. All I want from the police officer is to say, "I'll send someone to check on it, but I can't allow you in front of the line since I don't know where you've been inside the line." That's fair; otherwise, there's nothing I can do about it. The cop referred me to one of the people who owns and runs the fair.

So I spoke to this man. He was wearing a green vest, and I told him I wanted a refund. I explained my reasons to him. Honestly, I didn’t expect to get a refund out of him, But I thought he would deal with the problem. No, he tried to push it off onto the rides manager. Then I was told by the police officer that it is your job. I was down there and I didn't see a problem down at Cyclops.

My conclusion, if you don't want to read all this, is that everybody who runs the fair or works at the fair will deny any problems or responsibilities. The police officers, in my opinion, are only there to stop fights if they happen; they're not there to prevent them from starting. Forty dollars is forty dollars, but two hours of my life have been wasted standing in the cold, and no one cares to take action or see what was wrong.

There's just one last bit. I now realize how horrible an idea to go to a place where not everybody could be accounted for. Because any lie can work, and no way can prove that lie right or wrong. If you do go, never go on...

We visit the fair grounds on 4/28. 6pm and there was adequate parking, and attendants were also there to assist. There is no line when you purchase your entrance tickets. You can enter the right-hand side from the entrance booth. There was a heavy presence of Columbia Co. Sheriff deputies. Once you're in, youll be pass a few vendors offering their specific services.(Mattresses/Jewelry etc) Then there's a really talented Lady by the Name of Nelly who offers Face panting for children/Adults. (Affordable pricing/wide selection) she's on the left-hand side right before you step into the Fair. New to this year's policy/recommendations. Parents are asked to write their tele# on a wristband in case the child gets separated from their parents/guardian. The number can be called, and the child reunited w/their family. The food: Hubby got a hamburger from the 1st truck to the right-hand side. (He didn't like it at all. He's stated the patty was over-cooked and dry) You'll have better luck w/the 2nd truck (right next to them) Across from them was a truck who sold fried oreos. They were ok, but too greasy for my liking.

We really missed the Asian food that participated last year. Their food was the best!

The pizza 🍕 truck (selling calzones, etc) was friendly and great, and the young man was very helpful with my order (& refills). I enjoyed the pizza, which was priced @$7 a slice, but it was worth it. Choices: Pepperoni Ranch pickle Pepperoni Sausage and Plain cheese. Nevertheless, the pizza was satisfying. ** Rides: The line for rides depends on the day/time and choice of ride. We didn't find the lines to be unreasonable. We rode all the children's rides, and we found them to be safe. We opted out from the animal zoo section because the smell was truly offensive. This may be ok by others, so it'll be your call. Ginallybwe saw several performances by a couple who perform with fire and a man who shot out of a cannon. This place was safe and the kids all had a great time. We will be returning...

Loved it except for the parking that's why I'm giving it a #4. I'm not familiar with the area, only by following my GPS and turned left at the light before the park. We thought this is great parking on the side but .......Nope, the gate was closed and there were a lot of cars looking to park. Lot's of Sheriff's around but no designated signs to actually park ONLY at the front entrance for the Balloon show. We ended up going all around the block , left past the fairgrounds and around the other side past the water company and up the other side . It was over 45 minutes of stop and go traffic. Some peoples cars over heated from waiting. I believe this is a yearly event. I loved the big balloon's and the vendors fun to look at. The food lines were a bit to long, not 6 feet between people standing in line. Not enough toilet paper which is hard to control. The laser show was really fun too. Coming from the Atlanta area I might just try to see the show somewhere else. Yes, the show was really fun, the parking NOT. I bought our tickets on Goldstar.com for an...
